About what I expected from them considering how they've been lately.

Putrid game by Morrow and Lemieux.

Good game by Laine, worked hard. Good to see Mo finally put him back on the PP.​

Probably the best Laine has played in the last while no reward though

I'll hit the usual major points after a loss:

1st line was terrible
Maurice is the worst coach in the history of the NHL
This team isn't going anywhere in the playoffs so let's trade UFAs for futures.
Why isn't Laine on the 1st line?
Goaltending could've been better

This team has real issues. We just got spanked by the sens and the avs. Let that sink in.

As is especially with this coaching staff I was saying we dont make it out of the 2nd round now I'm starting to doubt we win more then 2 games in the 1st round.

Based on GDT comments, it sounds like we are still having issues getting up for games against weaker teams -
Hate it when we take nights off because we think we can.
Hopefully this is a "young team" thing and we'll grow out of it - quickly.

Amazingly lots of people in my section tonight understood how terrible they've been for over a month now. Lots of sarcastic golf clapping going on in the stands tonight as well, fully deserved lol.

I missed the game so I can't assume - but based on comments, we didn't bring our A game

Believe me, it's a very common trap to get into so I don't fault you in the least, but just trying to bring some perspective. Bad teams haven't been an issue this year. The concern was brought up when we lost to Philadelphia some time ago but we were like 22-4-3 against non-playoff teams or something like that. That may have shifted as some teams have gone into the playoff hunt (St. Louis) and some have fallen out (Colorado) but I have a hunch it would still be very strong.

Lemieux made one poor play, but he actually played well overall.

Scheifele and line were awful. Just brutal in their own zone.

None of the Jets could hit the net. Embarrassing. Wheeler was typically poor in shot selection and accuracy.

Littles line had it going, and I agree that Laine was better.
