16 wins in a row!
6-0, Medvedev with the SO...Take that Petes...that's for Trevor Cann (no, I'm still not over that trade, lol!)
Petes are one of the weakest opponents that we've faced in quite some time...that's why I don't like Van Bommel taunting their bench. It's like a UFC fighter celebrating a knockout over a senior citizen. Just don't do that.
Much tougher opponent tomorrow night.

Maybe a response to the taunting by McIntyre after that fight with Woolley?

Kept most of the antics down and got to business. It’s these games i worry that the foot comes off the pedal, but not the case tonight.

Decisive victory, don’t know if there was much accomplished though except for a few irregular lines getting some practice.

It's a crime when Aboflan is scratched in favour of Boulton. Aboflan brings a lot to the table along with his toughness.

I didn't realize Matthew Jenken was Noah Jenken's brother (not listed on their Elite prospects pages). They would make a decent third pairing.

Looking at the team as it stands currently it’s a championship caliber team. I really don’t think any additions to the forward group or goaltending are needed. If any additions are made it would be to add two older defensive D men to take the minutes off the current top four. But if no changes are made that would be ok as well. Defence is a team game and the current roster is capable of being defensively sound while providing ample offence.

The Pete’s acquired Jenken from Flint for a 3rd, 6th and conditional 5th (not sure the condition). This guy would solidify our bottom pair, he’s 6’4 200 and he’s an 05. Would be back as an OA next year which would be ideal to have some size/experience as Bonk will be gone, but Dickinson also might be gone.

I like Aboflan on the 4th line. He was coached by Zack Rinaldo... likely had something to do with him ending up in London. I also really like Read on that 4th line. He could possibly be in the top 6 next season.

I agree. Next year top 6: O’Reilly, Nicholl, Hawery, Van Gorp, Read, Van Bommell

Hawrey-Read-Aboflan would probably be the best 4th line in the league. One thing I've noticed about Read is that he's always attacking the middle. It's certainly no accident he's put up as many points as he has.

You are absolutely right, he is like Zac Ronaldo. Great comparison. We are spoiled to have the depth.

When a guy like Arrowsmith is struggling to make it into the lineup and is automatically on the second line in Niagara that tells you something.

Tonight will be tough, need to absolutely start on time. We are up against a championship goalie, and considerable star power in Kingston.

This is the best I could find.

No doubt Abo is better than Boulton. He plays a clean game and has that physical presence needed.
Read doesn’t stop working - doesn’t give up on a play.
With the suspensions and U20 tourney invites coming up, it’s nice to have some depth. Question is, does the D have enough depth to hold the fort with Bonk and Dickinson away?
