Julien made 2 solid plays in the OZone to keep pucks alive for the knights 2nd goal. Hopefully the active stick keeps it up.
SSM 3rd jerseys......not made for TV lol. I gotta use my season seat more. Damm work lol.

EDIT....quiet for a game knight.

London beat Soo 4-3 in a well played game

Surprisingly, the Knights were the discipline team tonight. I also thought they(top 6) try to play too fancied up, once again on some plays as well on their PPs. That is fine against a lower team or if they are against bottom 6 forwards, but man, not against Soo's tops. They still came out with the well-earned 2 points

Ok since I cannot respond to the back dated posts here is goes.

IMO if we were to go after a want (not a need) via trade I would rather Musty. He brings in what we are missing from McCue with a HUGE offensive upside.

As for Hawery being part of any package it ain't happening. So if that's what is needed to make any trade a trade of that sort happen ITS NOT HAPPENING.

Now someone also mentioned Nurmi would be playing in the AHL as he is eligible.....just because you're eligible doesn't mean your ready and watching him thus far he's not ready but there still is alot of hockey to be played this year.

Those jerseys were awful to see in person as well.

Blast From The Past:
While checking on the Tulsa Oilers to see how Gaz was doing I noticed that former Knight Paxton Leroux recently played a game for them after not having played in what appears to be eight years.

Entertaining game. Hounds played well. Knights were mostly good. Dickinson is exceptional but needs to stop playing the role of riverboat gambler.
Read was noticeable.
Brzustewicz is showing well - good hockey IQ. Aboflan and Boulton did good things on the forecheck.
Much better game from Julien.

Good late game penalty kill. Knights played a solid game. Read and third and forth liners had good hustle. Goaltending was steady.

You called us a lower team ….
I did no such a thing!
I said, London top six players should not be playing their fancy game against a team like that of the Soo's. In other words, London top lines had problems against Soo's top lines, because of London's fancied up plays against them, contributing for only one PP goal. If it wasn't for their bottom six players, London would have lost to the Greyhounds. In other words, London top six were overly confident against Sault Ste-Marie and could have lost to them if not for London bottom lines contribution. Saving their fancy plays comment, were meant for other teams, not for Soo Greyhounds

We do need the big boys to step up a bit, but our depth has been good so far

Arrowsmith seems to be a future big goal scorer in this league. Can see him for sure in the 20-30 goal range. He’s got a knack for it

London still have lots of work to do, meanly on their defensive side of the puck in their own zone. Got to be careful with their fancy plays, like blind passes and passing through legs & etc., Some teams against are quick to learn and intercepting. This team collectively, is really looking good this early, and is ahead of last year's pace

Remember how everyone said Haltunnen was trash to start the season last year....

Nurmi has impressed me. He has consistently been one of the best all around players night in and out he has just not been given a chance to play with the big boys.

He is solid on the wall, quick on the forecheck, very good vision, solid speed, strong in his own zone. Not too sure what else the guy can do, he might not be putting up major points as of yet but he is just under a PPG playing on the third line with zero PP or PK time.
