Always nice to see a kid pop thier first goal. Extra nice to see how excited his teammates were for him! Says alot.
Fortunate he came out of the box with OS player while 4x4 with Cowan n Barkey up front but he got to open space ( 2x) n sniped the 2nd chance.

Dickenson not making the best decisions on latest PP 5 min into the 2nd. A little to casual at times. Yes I have his bar alot higher than others lol.

And Dale gives the kid another shitt with the 2stars early in the 3rd.
I'm getting comparison vibes on Hawery with an ex knight. Still expect 3/4 line minutes but the little this staff does say alot.
Not the same player but I'm looking at same projection.

I do not understand trying to force Halttunen out of the Left side. Overloading the right on the powerplay with he and Cowan just does not seem to work. I know their likley doing it to open up Dickinson on the left D to creep up but I like spacing those two out on either wing and have that open up the middle and have the option for the bumper play or cross crease....idk....maybe it's just me.

EDIT: Did Dale read my post. Goalie pulled...Halttunen back on the left wing...GOAL!!!!

EDIT#2: Again...same set up and the bumper setup is there.

Well, I'll take it, but I'm still grumpy about it lol. Lots of stuff to clean up.

DICKINSON STOP FORCING PLAYS AND MAKE THE SAFE PASS. STOP THESE TURNOVERS. I counted at least 2.

I counted at least 10 lol. Obviously he is net positive on the ice but as I posted I got the bar set higher for him.

Lots of good puck movement in the OZone by Lon early.
George solid for OS as usual.
Kudos to OS. Played the way they needed to and as the game progressed they became more effective (until last 5/6 minutes) OS deserves kudos. Skill was obviously favoured by 1 squad but they found a way to battle, get up 2 n play a very good game.

Ya I meant the 2 turnovers that led to goals. There was way more than 2 like you stated. Makes it even more pressing to get a stay at home defensive defenseman like Andrew Gibson.

I feel like Sim played a big role in that comeback…they were stale and lackadaisical, then after his hit and fight looked motivated and really poured the pressure on for 10 straight mins and were eventually rewarded with some bounces. But that’s what Sim can do, turn the momentum of a game in one shift like few guys can in this league, he just needs to learn to do it controlled.

thought OS were technically sound. Third got away from them a bit.
George is stupid good. Pleasure to watch.
Attack never an easy out, seemingly.
