We've been the underdog in every series... with the exception of the opening round/OS. But yeah, Petes will be quite the challenge.Peterborough has the better top 6 but London can wear you down with all 4 lines, and I think London has the better defence (especially since they recalibrated since having Bowen in net.
I’m legitimately worried about the Pete’s. I think the series will come down to goaltending.
This reminds me of 2012 Niagara Vs London. We've been the underdog in every series... with the exception of the opening round/OS. But yeah, Petes will be quite the challenge.
No 3 on 3 or shoot outs in the playoffs so past win experience in ot is not a factor. As you did note stamina is definitely a factor.Overtime games are a definite possibility, and should they occur, I like the Knight's chances. My reasoning is this: Over the course of the season, the Knights did have their share of overtime games. The won more than their fair share of those, so there's an experience element. Also, the Petes have played more playoff games than the Knights, and every extra game drains some stamina reserves.
Ask players who are beginning to feel fatigued to play an extra period or 2, and they might be willing, but not necessarily able.
The more players involved in any game, the fatigue factor is lessened, and distributed. 3rd & 4th line players become more important as their playing time affords lines 1 & 2 some needed rest.
Oh, you had to bring factors into it didnt you? This will be uphill for both teams. No 3 on 3 or shoot outs in the playoffs so past win experience in ot is not a factor. As you did note stamina is definitely a factor.
That sucks! Can't get TSN.Looks like TSN is broadcasting games 3-7 nationally.
Factors is my new favorite word!Oh, you had to bring factors into it didnt you? This will be uphill for both teams.
If Brochu is back it’ll help with that, but agreed our D is better. Idk our top 6 right now is pretty damn good. I take us in 7.Peterborough has the better top 6 but London can wear you down with all 4 lines, and I think London has the better defence (especially since they recalibrated since having Bowen in net.

Im thinking Moore stays south of border... also Frank Nazar. Although it looks like he will be drafted by Anaheim, he would probably stay in college then.Has anyone come across recent news on William Moore, I mean anything published in May of 2023 whether it relates to the USNDP or the Knights? Things seem rather quiet on the Moore front. I know he wasn't one of our picks in attendance at a recent playoff game, but I'm talking news on his future.
Nazar is a Blackhawks pick. Went 13th overall last year after they acquired the pick from Habs as part of Kirby Dach trade.Im thinking Moore stays south of border... also Frank Nazar. Although it looks like he will be drafted by Anaheim, he would probably stay in college then.
Nazar is a Knight next year …. HopefullyNazar is a Blackhawks pick. Went 13th overall last year after they acquired the pick from Habs as part of Kirby Dach trade.
Ok. Thanks. Didnt know that. Some things I pay attention to, some not... SQUIRREL!Nazar is a Blackhawks pick. Went 13th overall last year after they acquired the pick from Habs as part of Kirby Dach trade.
Yes unfortunately with Connor Bedard going to Chicago, he will help levitate any player game including Nazar’s. I was hopeful Nazar would show up for the Knights next year, but Bedard just hurt our chances….Im thinking Moore stays south of border... also Frank Nazar. Although it looks like he will be drafted by Anaheim, he would probably stay in college then.
I realize that overtime format during playoffs differs. That doesn't negate the experience level of Knights players in a 5 on 5 situation. They just have 2 additional teammates as part of that unit. My point was, and is, that they've demonstrated that they don't panic in overtime situations, but they have managed to win a fair share. They'll hold their own 5 on 5.No 3 on 3 or shoot outs in the playoffs so past win experience in ot is not a factor. As you did note stamina is definitely a factor.
I don't think a 3 on 3 scrimmage or a skills competition can be compared to 5 on 5 playoff hockey but whatever factor you choose is up to you. See I got to say " factor " again, I'm getting good at this!I realize that overtime format during playoffs differs. That doesn't negate the experience level of Knights players in a 5 on 5 situation. Peterborough ticket info.
I've been in attendance for all 4 of London's OHL Championships. Unfortunately only way I'll get to do it this time is if it happens in game 5 or 7 unless I'm lucky enough to secure seats for game 6 and they win.
For goodness sakes at least make sure you have your teeth in. Nothing worse then an irate old man missing his teeth!these days all I could really do is smack someone upside with my cane
