Definitely the Flyers

There's a reason the design hasn't been changed for over 50 years

Vegas has a good logo but Philly has a great logo.

Vegas looks like a college logo, the Flyers one is far from timeless but at least one of the better 1960s creations.

Flyers logo looks like something out of a Mario Brothers video game, and the orange is hard on the eyes.

Knights is simple, it's not cartooney at all, incorporates the letter V really well ... *chefs kiss* love it.

Flyers. And it is not even close.


I used to find their logo kinda peculiar as a kid. If you try to deconstruct and analyze it too much, it still really is tbh. But it's really grown on me over the years - as my design sensibilities developed. It's so clean, simple, identiable. It's really everything you want in a hockey logo.

I've always liked the Flyers logo, easy choice.

Also, anywhere you see a Vegas jersey you are bound to see one of those ridiculous gold helmets.

That Flyers logo is one of the most "hockey" looking images out there. It's distinct, clean, simple, and has been long-lived enough to now be iconic.

Where as the Vegas logo would be better used on a box of condoms. It's a terrible colour scheme and looks like it's trying too hard. The punch-out letter V is the only redeeming quality. Pass.

None of these are particularly great, especially not the Vegas one. Flyers one got a great color scheme, but the logo in itself kinda looks like a mash-up between some 1960s AHL team and a flyer for some 90s London suburbia rave party.

Is that orange circle in the middle supposed to be a puck? It's as if they made an LSD Bond movie spoof or something. It's still Philly though.

Perhaps, but it's mostly just the center (think the word is "counter") of the letter P.
