Been waiting this to happen since 19-20 season when i first saw his highlight clips.

He just had that, it. Just like DeBrincat had, haves.
You could easily see it back then.

Imagine if Logan had this chance, lets say in December..
He'd be the one challenging Bedard from the Calder.. alas..
not mad, but happy for the dude.

Players like Stankoven are so much fun to watch play hockey
i would put him to Patrick Kane, Sebastian Aho*, Alex DeBrincat category
and others like them, they just think, see, play different hockey.
As smaller players, they never had the chance to rely on just one or two things,
always had to think out of the box.

And yeah, Stankoven is not just a great goal scorer, he is so much more.


*not that Aho is small now, but since 2014, 2015 he has grown relatively lot in height.

also, in his first 2 games, 2 last Dallas Stars games, Logan has most sog; 5 and hits; 5
aaaand... last 2 games Stars top 3 in points : Stankoven 1+1, Johnston 1+1, Heiskanen 0+2

He'll still be Calder eligible next season and have an excellent head start in experience with as many as 24 regular season games plus whatever extra in the playoffs. Gotta think he's the favorite to win it right now.
