</p> The Los Angeles Kings have an older group of prospects, most of whom have progressed into the AHL. For that reason, the Monarchs have been a force this season. The squad clinched the Atlantic division and the top seed in the Eastern Conference. They now move into the Eastern Conference Finals of the Calder Cup playoffs in an effort to erase last year’s disappointing first round bow-out.

Good article, Jason! Really can't disagree with any of that. I was trying to see where Michael Mersch would fit into winning one of those recognitions, but you gave better justification for your choices.
 
This made me want to kepe a closer eye on Miller. Hardest shot and Fastest skater...pretty good combo there .

Yea, there were some difficult ones. I wanted to fit Mersch in there somewhere. I also wanted to fit Lintuniemi in there, but it was just too difficult given some of the guys they were up against!
