Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. DD03, I'm not a fan of NHL 13 really. I don't like the speed burst, seems unrealistic. The speed burst in 12 could use some tweaks but I think that's the best way to do it.
I never bought it, since there was no season. I might now.

Unrealistic? How? You pick up speed by skating straight lines and your guy pumping his legs. The only part that is unrealistic is the physics engine is still garbage.

There are no 'speed bursts' in real life. Sure you can skate faster, at times, but not like 40x faster lol.
The physics are indeed garbage.
