FFS CHEVY GET ON IT!!!

Trouba absolutely fits the bill.

We would have to add but this is 100% what we need. A top young LD.

As far as money goes. Trouba can be signed in the $4.5 to $5.5 range. Not sure how that works out for Anaheim.

Since other top D will also be paid similarly to what Lindholm likely wants, why not just sign him?

If it's not about money and instead there is now bad blood, then Lindholm for Trouba.

I know Anaheim has probably heard this offer a thousand times but thoughts on Gardiner + JVR?

EDIT: Thought Lindholm was a right shot. Still really interested but no as much as I would have been.

Before anyone gets too excited, this person has never gotten any of their rumors correct about Anaheim.

Rielly for Lindholm?

Before you call this a lateral move for Toronto, it would strengthen their back end from a defensive standpoint, I don't think we'll need a ton of offense from our D. That said, I don't see Toronto doing it, since they've drafted and developed Rielly, and signed him to a nice contract.

Gardiner+JVR combined make about $8.25 million and they're trying to get Lindholm locked up for 6 years less then $6 million per so how does adding JVR+Gardiner make any sense for Anaheim.

Klefbom + Reinhart + Benson + 1st for Lindholm + Montour?

Klefbom is a top pairing D signed for another 6 years at 4 mill. Reinhart is still developing, has speed issues that needs to overcome but could be a top 4 D. Benson is a good young forward prospect that was projected to have been drafted in the top 15 if not for his injury last year.

Oilers get the #1 D they desperately need. Montour is a right shooting PP D that if developed correctly, the Oilers could really use.

Send back Stoner too.

Anaheim would likely have to pay around 5.5M min for Lindholm and then 3.25M for Stoner. Only 4.25M and 4M for the other two combined and it is an upgrade at forward while a downgrade on defense.

Oh god, here we go.

Jets fans, we don't want Trouba just like you don't want Fowler.

This guy is a hack who gets nothing right, especially about Anaheim.

Pretty sure this would be the only way Lindholm would go to Toronto is a deal based around Rielly. And Lindholm would be a upgrade over Rielly any day.

Can't see Lou being interested in Stoner, He could've had him for nothing when he was put on waivers. But looking at here it would work out for both Anaheim and Toronto might not be a bad deal.

Well... we don't want Stoner. The point is he balances salaries because he wouldn't likely dress for the Leafs and would get Laich/Greening treatment.
