Great article!

Linden Vey has been awesome this season. And I think he should be in MVP talks. As I said in the Monarchs thread. He's the youngest player in top 10 points leaders in the AHL and is only 3 points from leading the league. Impressive!

What he impressed me the most this season is when Toffoli was called up and Pearson was injured. He became the goal scorer! That's something those special players do. They step their game up or change their game to better suit the teams current needs.

As for the negatives in his game I agree with Morris. He needs to improve his defensive game. Even just last night he made a bad turnover in his own zone. But, he is improving.

Pearson mention his vision and ability to find players. There was great example of that last night on the Monarchs 1st goal. Vey fires a pass right at Jordan Weal. Which deflects off him and into the goal, tying the game. Weal doesn't even look like was ready for a pass.

I find it hard to believe Lombardi that Toffoli couldn't do a push-up after his draft lol.

Those 3 players are going to be great players. Toffoli's going to be really good as long as he starts doing some leg presses.
