:wild and :ducks deadlocked at 2 games a piece in our series, very even, both won a game in OT, and both won 4-1 in games 3 and 4. Looks like the sim will decide the winner, either way, that was fun

Looking to see what the return can be. Interested in cutting salary so id like to see young nhl players on ELC or cheap contracts. Not interested in people over 33 ish nor draft picks outside the 1st

Good games for sure, unfortunate the last 3 will go to a sim but whoever moves on will be a tough out.

Good series to :bolts who managed to dominate me.

With that being said, starting off-season trade talk.

Filppula 87, Tatar 86, Ehlers 83 4y, Fabbri 82 4y, Sedin x2 85(if they dont retire), Rakell 80 4 red, Boyle 84, Bouwmeester 87, Tinordi 85, Schenn 85, Howard 85 and Visentin 84 are all available.

Also looking for a good young goalie who is 80+ or someone around 90 overall. Willing to try and pick up a legit #1 center as well. Pm me if you have any interest.

I am looking to find out the market for Krejci. Currently 87 overall Center. Not definitely trading him, but i would like to see what some offer would be. Im not looking for any draft picks outside of a top pick this draft

I think he was trying the Buffalo tear down rebuild/blatant tank.

I was and it was going really good. Lots of picks and quality prospects. Pretty sure he still has like 3/4 1sts next year.

The issue was when the CPU drafted a goalie 4th overall and Lindholm didn't make the jump, his contract is like 6 years at 2.5M.

He should be lucky I left him with what it is compared to what it was. The team was basically UFA's and 30+ declining players. Now he has tons of cap room and flexibility.

Traded a 2019 1st for Sekera, Traded two 1sts in 2018 for Eric Staal, I had to sign 4 F to fill out my bottom 6, my only studs at F were Lindholm, JVR, and Nino, Pomminville is good but getting old, I also shipped Stajan for Braun because my top 6 D were Hedman, Gardiner, this young guy Thomas and the rest was junk. So i acquired those two D, signed Clitsome, Tim Erixon, and Jordie Benn. Shipped Erixon in the Sekera deal (that guy Sekera is unreal btw so fast). Kept your 4.5 star goalie but trying to ship out my 4* G prospect. I will have about 11-12 million cap room after this season, you left me a few good prospects, but that D core was just brutal

In this league you only need 4 d men, or at least you use to be able to do that. The rule was no one over 35 mins so you could easily play 35 - 25 - 5 split between your pairings meaning the 3rd pairing didn't matter.

You could more or less do the same with forwards. Only top 3 lines mattered and up until the team was blown up the bottom six was all just specialty guys (speed or face offs).

Goalies are hit and miss anyways. I found that rating didn't matter as the play could completely change.

:bruins 1 :sens 2 so far, will finish tomorrow.

Bruins won game 1, out playing Ottawa a little bit, getting more scoring chances. I think it finkshed 3-2 or 2-1.

Game 2 desynchronized with 30ish seconds left on an offensive zone faceoff for the Bruins who were down 2-1, so we restarted and scored EN, then let time run down and played from 40 seconds, only for the game to finish 2-1 Ottawa.

Game 3 the Sens owned the 1st period with 18-1 shots, but only got either 1 goal or none, cant remember exactly. In the 3rd, the Bruins tied the game with a backhand swat out of the air goal that was reviewed and counted. With just over a min left the sens got the go ahead that became the game winner, 3-2.

We will either finish the series tomorrow, or let whatever is left sim if we cant both get on enough. Its been a GREAT series so far, with the feel of a real playoff match up, hopefully the real life Bruins can experience the same thing this year with better results.

:edmonton takes the series 4 - 0 over :coyotes... while the series score seems lopsided, the games were anything but.. it took timely goals and a stellar series performance by F. Andersen

Series scores

G1. 2-1
G2. 2-0
G3. 2-1
G4. 2-1

Was a great series Duval.. could have gone either way.

'Twas a good series. Can't believe the goal that sent me home came from your side of the ice of all things

Good luck the rest of the way

Just based on the last few season from what I noticed.

Calder will go to Fabbri for having the most points
Norris to Karlsson again for the most points
Vezina to Allen for Wins (though Jones GAA almost 0.6 lower may affect this)
Perry or Palat will win the Hart the other will win the Lindsay
Masteron I have no idea
Selke also no idea

I would give Jones the Vezina just based off our game 2 match, holy **** lol

The way my D are set up, they mostly all play, hard to keep the top guys on when they get all the PP time as well. I have it set up so my bottom pairing is mostly my 1st unit PK as well, I prefer the 6 anyway, in case of injuries and such. Also helps to put out a quick 4th line, maybe not so much skilled, but I remember one game with Hootz I won 7-2, my 4th line had 4 of those goals alone...helps me anyway

:blues beat the :flames 4-1 in the series.

Every game was pretty close so the series score doesn't reflect the overall games. Was pretty fun. Jake Allen was solid for me.
