That was Lombardi.

Leopold suffered a concussion in his first year with the flames (I believe...not a full season with the flames though)... This is his second one in the pro leagues...

It looks Berard, Liles, Martin, Poti etc would be considered if Leopold can't play. I wouldn't mind seeing Berard named, as he can at least do one thing well, and that's move the puck and create offense. The article also noted that Carney was approached to play but declined.

Martin is very similar to Leopold, so he is an obvious choice. I have no problem with him being named.

I think it is safe to say that Leo, Mara and Martin are USA's future D-men. But I think the fact that Martin and Leo are both Gopher Alumn and they are playing in St. Paul have alot to do with it as well. With Leo out that would have only left Langenbrenner as the only Minnesotan on the team.

Personally, I am very happy with P-Mart making the team.
