Character win. Started well, sunk again but battled to win it. We were the better team for the most part but had some major errors at times.
Congrats to Lilly on his 1st NHL goal. Overall up and down for him today but you can see the potential he has.

Campbell struggled, it was good to see the team pick him up after he's won games we didn't deserve to win

I wasn't unhappy with the D, you give up 25 shots you will win plenty of games during a season of your goaltender does his job

In defense of Campbell I think that our defense is letting the opposition get in way too low so easily. They were on Campbells doorstep all night long. They have to start leaning on and laying some lumber on those guys.

Pretty interesting road trip. Every night has had its entertainment (good or bad).

Ironically their best game against Arizona was their only regulation loss.

Team needs to get it together but getting healthy again will help. Long tough road trip so far.

His agent has a strong tie to Ottawa and I doubt these older KHL free agents plan on putting down roots in North America. A Zaitsev type deal will easily put him out of the leafs grasp

Marner looked great, Matthews looked great, Tavares was better than the last couple games. I thought we played pretty well tbh. The first goal was a complete breakdown. But STL second and third goal were off such flukey bounces. Binnington had a weird game, he sucked but he also made some big saves. I thought we deserved the win, but too many sloppy plays. Also f*** that giant they have on D, Mikkola ? or whatever his name is, god that guys annoying as f***. Doesn't even play hockey, interfering machine. Guys an absolute pylon.

Between Kyrou and Mikkola, there should’ve been at least 3 more penalties in Toronto’s favour.

Those guys aren’t even dirty, just kept holding and interfering with our guys

Clutch win but frustrating it had to be like that. Could've had 7-8 pts over this stretch but only came out with 5.... Not the end of the world of course but it's tough when the Panthers, Lightning and Bruins just don't lose

Somebody will throw a deal at him that the Leafs can’t match. Ottawa for example should give him a sweetheart deal. They’re getting Millstien guys like zub and Zaitsev and I saw someplace that they’re in the running for whoever the top KHL free agent is right now. He’d be perfect there, get top six minutes, will likely sacrifice a little bit of salary for term and get to eff over the Leafs on a regular basis.

That’s it with a hard cap, middle guys on good teams move because they get paid, mostly overpaid, by middling to bad teams, If Mik can be a piece in a major trade, fine but otherwise he walks post season and you wish him well,
