Thank you sir winnington, I’ll take that

Campbell was bad, he’s gonna bounce back, and he’s won us enough, so it’s time for us to do the same

Big 4 were solid, marners return game was real good

Lily with his first of hopefully many

I’ll take the W everyday and twice on the weekends

I'm not gonna rag on Campbell too much. Like I said in the GDT, he can't be expected to have a .940%+ game every single game. Sometimes the rest of the team has to pick him up when he's had a bad game, which the offense did on this night. Campbell has won for the Leafs many times this season, especially earlier in the season when their offense wasn't as potent as it has been since November.

I don't like that they've given up so many leads in three of their last four games, but they won two of them and gained a point in another. It happens, move on.

Still think they need to be better, especially Muzzin and a few others that have been boneheaded.

I can't blame Holl or Ritchie for once.

Glad to have the win against a team that had as many points as the Leafs.

Blues were missing some of their top guys, so they should've won and they did... just not without drama, but makes for a more fun game to watch.

entertaining game, but given the depleted blues lineup it's concerning how close the game was

Echoing my thoughts exactly. After getting thoroughly outplayed in both Colorado and Vegas, and losing to a Coyotes team missing 10 regulars.

Points are points, but let's be real here. This squad isn't playing well at the moment.

I'll always take a win, so let's start there.

That said, the Blues were missing Parayko, Schenn, Perron, Buchnevich and Tarasenko.

That should not have been a 6-5 game. They need to be a lot better than that moving forward.

They were way better than the score suggests.

St. Louis hardly had the puck. Tough night for Jack, but he has bailed the Leafs out this year so the boys owed him one

Campbell was even worse. 5 goals on 25 shots. Solid .800 save %. Hard to win games when your goalie has those numbers.

Binnington had .850
And yet the GWG wasn’t even scored by our own player. Binnington decided to try V.H on the puck coming in and resulted in it hitting the back of his own pad and going in. He sold so hard

1. Nice to see a lot of positive chat in the GDT, a lot of people interacting respectfully

2. it’s nice to be on the right side of these and win

3. we need a defenseman badly.

Campbell bent but didn't break. Binnington looked ECHL level out there tonight.

Win feels good. F the Blues, Krug and that clown Mikkola especially.

Agreed

campbells been lights out, and whilst I was a bit pissed during the game, we got the win and that’s all that matters.

If that were mrazek however, I wouldn’t be so willing to forgive that easily. But campbells won us more games than we deserve so we should pay him back

I don't think the defense has been good on the entire trip. Dermott and Brodie's gaffs led to 2 of the 3 goals in Arizona the other night and 3 of the Blues goals tonight came off the back of terrible defensive decisions, or awful coverage down low.

Hockey is played at both ends of the ice. You won't score 6 goals every night.

it was a barn burner, the refs sure know how to cook up a good one. Right now i have this image in my mind of chester and Jedd riding ole paint home down the dusty trail.

What are you talking about we deserved this win we outplayed the blues all night

Defensive coverage and decisions, especially throughout the 2nd period, were deplorable. Leafs time of possession and shit totals don't tell the whole story. You can't play like glass in your own end.

i was irritated at this effort until i stepped back and realized we lost to the penguins 7 - 2 under similar circumstances this year. im not gonna complain about a win. the defensive breakdowns were rough but we didnt fold, thats the important thing.

Crazy game.

I gotta give one of the stars of the game to Liljegren, not just because it was his first NHL but that kid was laying down some body. Playing at the end of the game and being poised.

Seriously Rielly you can’t make those mistakes-ever

Muzzin needs to be traded in the offseason.

Refs, you seriously ruin ever game.
