I'll give Mrazek a bit of a pass. Probably hard to come in cold after probably mentally checking out the game when your team is up 5 goals entering the 3rd. Our D can't allow that many tips. The goaltending was horrific, but how we played in front of the crease was pretty bad too.

Yeah it wasn't great. I still can't believe in an NHL game 17 goals were scored on 5 total expected goals in the game. That was legendarily atrocious goaltending from both tandems.

prior to the covid /month long christmas break in December jack was hands down one of the top 3 goalies in the league. since we have returned to play he may be statistically one of the worst in the league. what the hell did he do during that break

I just want to say this... I prefer high scoring high chance games, it's far more entertaining than neutral trap nonsense... But not games that are high scoring because the goaltending sucks.

Detroit Toronto games were often 5-4, 6-5 affairs during the Pat Burns era but they were also well goaltended, hard fought wars on the ice. Not like one guy crapping the bed.

If I wasn't laughing watching tonight I would be crying. Andy may have let in a stinker at a critical point in a playoff game but he was never this bad.

That was the most pathetic display of goaltending I have ever seen. The Detroit goals weren't even difficult saves. I don't know if Campbell is that weak mentally, but he's been playing like a beer league goalie lately. 4 goals in 5:21, what a joke lol.

I don't like Mrazek either but it might be time to invest in his success for the next 10-15 games. Build him up with a runway and see what you get.

Canes GM knew what he was doing letting 35 walk and signing Freddy. Pretty clear Dubas was dupped by Ritchie and Mrazek.

OK, time to roast...

Freddy's job got stolen by one of the guys playing tonight because Freddy was so garbage last season. While Campbell rocked a .900 save% on the PK , Freddy put up one of the ten worst PK save% of the last 10 years behind the same unit.

I mean, ask Freddy what its like to get outplayed as a backup by Hutch.

I always thought he was a great goalie and was always rooting for him to get it back togther but one thing that bothered me about him rebounding this year was that it confirmed so many out there saying he's too mentally soft for this market (and big games) and he flat out quit on the team when we needed him.

The goal tending was awful all around, hopefully Campbell can find his game soon, we need him

He was quite good Thursday against minny and he’s had more good starts than bad lately which is more than can be said for Soup. Not to mention he came in cold tonight. The fact that he held the Fort matters more to me vs how he looked coming in with 15 mins to go in what was a laugher 3 mins earlier.

I want to believe. 35 has to show me.

When you make moves for peanuts and look for diamonds in the rough, your gonna pick up a lot of busts, like Ritchie, like vesey, like mrazek. But you also get guys like bunting Kase and Bogosian

That mrazek one has me racking my brain and coming up with nothing lol. Man looks more lost in net then Dora without a map

Never said anything about 58, 64 and 25 which were Home runs. Ritchie cost us to dump and 35 scares me. If playoffs start tomorrow we are in worse shape in net this year than last.
