Campbell can easily have a rough patch in March and April and May

his been in a 2-3 month decline. His stats have dropped under a .920
He’s looked mediocre and his style hasn’t even changed over this stretch

What a "fun" game and nice reminder of why I tend to prefer the "boring" games. We were able to see all of the goalies (Nedeljkovic twice)...no PP goals...Sittler's record is still standing (Sam Gagner scored too!)...Marner with the hatty + 1...Leafs won...

Confience is everything for a goalie and right now you can easyly see campbell dont have any confidence. He played stay too far in his net, he hesitate on every shot so he start too late his move to stop the puck and at the end he always half of a second late on every play. When a puck deflect, he already late so cant react enough fast.

Maybe its time call up a back up and give few days off to campbell, giving him time to see his family and restart to live and not just survive

Petr didn't exactly look much better. We might have a serious problem in goal. I think I heard Freddy laughing all the way from Carolina.

He was quite good Thursday against minny and he’s had more good starts than bad lately which is more than can be said for Soup. Not to mention he came in cold tonight. The fact that he held the Fort matters more to me vs how he looked coming in with 15 mins to go in what was a laugher 3 mins earlier.

This was very clearly a one man problem. If the team spots you 7, and you're so bad they pull you with a 2 goal cushion it says a lot about the quality of goals you're letting in.

It's been a 1 man problem arguably since December 1st, but absolutely since January 8th.

Luckily? Campbell’s a 1st round bust that caught fire for 20 games and is back to bust AHL level. If he’s starting in April leafs will be golfing a week or 2 later.

Honestly, I think there was only one goal tonight that I hated against Campbell tonight. Both teams had a ton of lucky tip in goals.

I don't like Mrazek either but it might be time to invest in his success for the next 10-15 games. Build him up with a runway and see what you get.
