Uh. I think it was 6-1 when I turned the TV off. wtf happened?

Campbell forgot how to stop a puck and Detroit kept firing them at the next to make it a 1 goal game .. some reliance from the Leafs say Mikheyev get a break to give some breathing room before Mrazek did his best Campbell impression.

Thankfully the PK came through in a big way, and the top line saved their best goal for last.

Honestly this could have been the score of a game if they did a cross league game between the Argos and the Lions.

No denying he has struggled but soup will figure this out. Just needs a big night and a leaf crowd chanting his name. He will be fine. Mark my words, tonight will be his turning point and we will hear how good he has been since this nightmare of a game.

No that's a little to favorable to the Lions. Maybe a Lions-UCC

The Leafs simply can't go with Campbell going forward, the guy has already proven (see Montreal series) that he can't take the pressure.

He was playing hurt.

not the first time Freddy bailed on the team. Did it the year before as well. That’s why Dubas was considering trading him last summer before giving him another shot. I had heard this for a while from guys around the team.

Campbell is cooked, guy is too fragile. The fact we had to pull the goaltender while winning says it all,

Toronto played well apart from the fact the goaltender couldn't stop anything that was shot at him, can't even blame Mrazek who went in cold in the 3rd period in a game that he definitely had no business being in.

This is why you don't sign goalies that are one hit wonders like Matt Murray/Campbell to big contracts, giving Campbell 4m+ and term after 145 games and whose never played over 50 games in a season is asking for trouble.

Ok, it's time to get serious about the goaltending

Give Campbell 2-3 weeks off, tell him to disappear and have himself a holiday

Call up Kallegren to backup Mrazek and use him as the starter for the next month

If Mrazek does well he keeps on starting and we hope like hell the reboot sorts Campbell out for the backend of the season

It's funny because not one of the goals that they scored in the 3rd I'd consider a scoring chance. This mess is on the goaltending tonight. I do think however our D really needs to make it harder on players in front of our net, but that has been said forever. Lyubushkin has been a refresher in that respect.

Okay, now explain this:

Worse than average goaltending over the season.

Been saying it for awhile, it doesn’t matter if we acquire a top 4d or top 6f, without acquiring a no.1 goalie, it’s not going to matter. That might have been the worst goaltending by a tandem that I’ve ever seen. Know why Detroit didn’t score on the pp in the third? They didn’t get a shot on goal!

Campbell isn’t right in the head, never has been, never will. Mentally fragile. That giveaway on the second goal was mindnumbingly stupid. Llilegren and Holl weren’t good, but Campbells reactions to deflected shots or shots from far out were terrible. His tracking of the puck was awful. We need to trade for MAF if possible.

Bunting makes $950,000 / year (per cap friendly)

Divided by 12 = $79,166 / month

÷ 4 = $19,791 / week

Now if Bunting makes $18.35/ hour, he would have to work 1,078 hours per week.

There are only 168 hours in a week.

Is my math off? Or is this guy taking into account taxes? I feel like he is just wrong though.

That was obviously a joke. We all make more than $18.35 an hour.

I have no idea what I just watched, but at least it was entertaining.

Might be the worst goaltending on all sides that I've ever seen in a game.

Might? there is no might to it, not ONE of those goals can be blamed on the defense, the goaltending should have had every single one of those goals, literally ALL of them

I don't see how saying someone makes way less than they actually do is considered a joke, at least a funny one. But that could just be me.

Thanks for clearing that up though.

ive never seen a game where your goalies let in the 5 worst goals of the game and u win by 3, with decent goaltending detroit scores 3 at most
