Forty-one years for me, and I've had more than enough experience watching the Leafs snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

I quite enjoy having the shoe on the other foot for a while.

It always sucked watching the Leafs outplay a better team only to have the better team somehow come out ahead at the end of the game. You just knew no matter how good it looked, something would go wrong. I'll take this over that any day :)
60 plus for me whew :)

Equal is as far as I'll go.

if we do have less than 20 shots against Arizona….I won’t even be mad, but grossly impressed. Arizona has been doubled in shots in games like 8 times this season. The worst I’ve seen is against the Mets when they got outshot 49-18 and still won 2-1
The Mets have a hockey team???

About 20 years in abd this is the worst I've felt after a win.

know the feeling, can’t sit here and pull out an example that’s worse off the top of my head, tho I’m sure it exists.

All fans of the same team, expecting the worse is a reasonable position. I dont feel it here, but any long timer will tell you I’m a ridiculous optimist. :)

go pick up two tomorrow, we are a top team in the league and it feels good.

Are Sheldon good coach???
Is his game plan effective?

I have a question mark in my head.

Regards
Take your eraser out of your pencil case and erase that question mark.

Hockey is a game, not a theoretical exercise. A good coach like Keefe knows when to step on it and when to let up on the gas to keep the team going and navigate the curves.

They dont get extra points for style here.

Found a way to win

We haven't been at our best but for a team that has found ways of ripping defeat from the jaws of victory I'll take it, especially against teams of that quality

We will be better for this, we look short of a run and hopefully we will get those other boys back

Excellent start on the road. I hope we keep it up tomorrow and come away with another two points!

I still have no idea what Clifford did to earn a tripping call. That's also the 3rd or 4th phantom penalty in the last few games that the Leafs broadcast haven't bothered to show a clear replay of.

I still have no idea what Brodie was doing getting on the ice during the PK with nobody coming off. It feels like terrible changes have been a Leafs staple for over a decade now.

Also, two goals against from passes from behind the goal line. That's starting to be a trend.

It's still strange to see Mikheyev scoring on opportunistic bounces instead of flubbing breakaways. I hope he keeps it up.

Not our best game, and man, there was some INSANELY bad bench management. In the 2nd, guys get hemmed in, exhausted, ice it, and … no time out. Then even worse, too many men while killing a penalty, giving away a 2 man advantage that lead to the game tying goal.

But hey, 2 points, I’ll take it! Coaching staff needs to get their heads out of their asses, though.

EDIT: oh damn, I totally missed the rule change where you’re no longer allowed to call timeouts after icing, my bad!
