Is there any such thing as a sucky win? Probably not but that was not a good performance by a big portion of the team. Officiating was pretty bad too, equal to the game I guess.

I thought Holl was not awful, and hope he can continue that trend. Muzzin looked better too, was moving a bit better. JT was horri-awful with his puck decisions. Though the rest of the guys played hard but sure were not playing all that well together... it was a choppy game overall.

Nice 3 of 4 points to start the 6 gamer... really, can't complain too much about the points, but the play has been less that stellar. Saving themselves for tomorrow?

Leafs played a great first again and then got sloppy. Refs didn’t help matters but that too many men call was self inflicted.

3/4 points despite the team playing 4 of the last 6 periods poorly.

Vegas doesn’t look that strong though, they were sloppy too, they just found their legs in the second and third.

I’m fine with it. Willy, Mathews and soup were great. We got 3 points against two good teams. We have a much easier schedule ahead minis the Blues game. Time to get into a rhythm and bank as many points as possible

meh, I’m gonna say Matthews has complete dominated on this road trip. Nylander is just talented beyond belief. He’s going to get close to 35 goals. His shot is so underrated, he could play like shit but get one opportunity and it’s a high probability of going in

Didn't like the way the Leafs played, again, tonight vs a depleted Vegas squad. Blowing multi goal leads is not a good habit to form, especially on the road.

Loved the decisive shootout effort by Nylander. He attacked Lehner confidently and confidently and, clearly, had a plan.

Move on from this one and bring better effort in Arizona. This is not a team built to be held to less than 20 shots in regulation.

if we do have less than 20 shots against Arizona….I won’t even be mad, but grossly impressed. Arizona has been doubled in shots in games like 8 times this season. The worst I’ve seen is against the Jets when they got outshot 49-18 and still won 2-1
