Somehow Xgf% matters more than the incredile plays Boosh made that directly led to winning the game..

I dont even know what to say about it anymore..
Yeah, I try not to take too much notice of comments that have the characters Xgf% in them.

Playoff hockey is more like a continuous series on mini events. Each action can have an effect on the whole series. The hit on Hagel can be something that will pay off down the line and no graph, chart, table, equation can show any of it.

The players know. Some fans know as well.

He wasn't complaining as much being critical of his own team. He's done the same through the regular season, Tampa being one of the more penalized teams in the league.

Leafs are always one of the least penalized teams in the regular season, year in year out. They also have near the fewest PP opportunities in the regular season, year in, year out.

The the playoffs start and 50% of the game is special teams. Our series always turns into shit shows.

Except for Floyd Mayweather Jr…. all streaks come to a end. Here’s hoping come Sunday night, Vasi is 15-1 and we have a stranglehold on the series.

Great win by the better team tonight.

Kerfoot actually made a worse play than Holl by not getting that puck out of the danger area. That said, I don't see the point of singling out one player in a huge character win. Holl really wasn't too, too bad tonight; I think I saw he was +1. I know +/- is overrated, but if Holl was a -3, that's the first thing the board would point out. Honestly though, I think Lilly should really be in there for either Holl or Boosh; rotate the two?

Great win by the buds on a night when they missed on a few chances. Not being pushed around, not giving in. Let’s go get one Sunday!

I find it's 50/50. People who love Holl hate Boosh. And people who love Boosh hate Holl.

I love Boosh. But I 100% don't think he should partner Rielly. I never have done. Not that it matters but I would've gone Rielly/Brodie, Giordano/Lily, Muzzin/Boosh.
Yes.. they need a better version of him to partner with Rielly. But its the right mould of player that covers for riellys weaknesses and allows him to play his game.
Hating on Boosh himself is pointless.

All I can say is for the third straight game Mitch has been the best player on the ice for either team, and by a decent chunk. Plays with the best player in the world right now and has still looked like an absolute superstar after an entire season of playoff choker storylines.

I’m insanely impressed with his play right now. Leaf for life.

Time to get greedy and steal that 3-1 lead. Don’t settle for the split. Weather the next 10 minutes and stomp down hard on the champions. The supporting cast came up huge tonight.

Tall order to win back to back in Tampa, but definitely doable, especially with Vasi looking very beatable at times.

He's on a mission right now. I think last year, he was trying to do too much. He's a lot more poised this year and he's not giving the puck away nearly as much trying to find something that just isn't there.

Can't take out Boosh. Can't look at the advanced stats when it comes to him. He's just coming up clutch and getting direct results and giving us well needed balance that can help us claw out 4 wins first. It's not like we run the team through him either, his ice time is always lowest among all d-men.

I agree with Lil being in the lineup so has to be Holl coming out.

I mean the advanced stats matched the fact that he was really struggling in his own end today.

The only thing that may be helpful is if his physicality can let us live without Simmonds/Clifford. That may be worth the trade off on its own, but his high sticking penalty today was also a bad one for him to take... And he has taken some bad penalties today.

Massive to get that game on the road. Winning on the road, and without a Matthews point are the games we should consider ourselves lucky to win. Now, lets take game 3.
