Post-Game Talk: Leafs win 6-3

Boston is going to finish 2nd or 3rd in this division. Leafs will almost certainly win tie-breakers against Boston, Florida and Tampa, should it come to that.

Dude's got a lot of hard miles on him. I'm OK with Keefe managing his minutes. Makes him fresher, hungrier and angrier

Abruzzese didn't play much. Got rocked early on a check. Turned it over on his 1st shift. As non-factor as Wayne and Jason have been lately.

Jack was okay. His SV% was over .900 and he made some big saves. Hayes goal wasn't his fault and the one that bounced off Kampf is hard to pin on him. This was not a great test for him, but a nice ease back in kind of game.

Pretty hard to say one way or the other if he's back but he showed signs of life and wasn't the Bad Jack we came to know before his injury shutdown.

The boys almost slept through that one. Simmer showing his worth. Despite the lackadaisical effort in the first 45 they weren't really chasing the game and got the job done in the third.

Abruzzese was lost out there... played hard and survived. Had a nice breakout pass. I think that's a win. I didn't really dislike anyones game once they started actually playing... maybe Brodie overplaying with the puck sometimes but he nailed the breakaway pass to Simmonds.

Flyers are not good... man are they not good.

Now that that is out of the way, really looking forward to the Monday-Tuesday-Florida-back-to-back!!

That was last season, apples and oranges. Have you watched him the last 3-4 games? He was running around pasting anything that moved.
I don’t care what anyone says, you need a player like that in the lineup.

Quick, to the simulator! Ya, Tie was great because he used his faults to his advantage. I think Wayne's reach helps him against Tie. But it would be a cool fantasy fight. As crazy as Tie was, I don't think he went out to kill his opponent like Wendel and Wayne
