That's about it. Injuries are hurting us. Holl needs to sit, but no one available to take his place. Boys don't look as mechanical and precise as last months run

This Sportsnet crew will not let go of the Muzzin hit. Simpson and Hrudey adamant that the principal point of contact was the head and will be subject to supplemental discipline. Watch it again morons. Shoulder to chest and the head snapped back as a result of the impact.

Give me the TSN broadcast any day of the week over these ass clowns.

I noticed in the first intermission them saying "Poink was just trying to get a piece of Sandin" as if it wasn't a big deal. And then when they were talking about Spezza, it was the worst hit of all time. I get it Spezza's hit was bad, but Poink's was bad too, and they just skirted around it.

The CBC crew is quite poor in quality. I very rarely actually watch their intermissions, and when I do, I find their "analysis," when they are actually talking hockey, is heavily biased, and even bafflingly bad sometimes in the takes they have.

Feels like this team always goes through these little spells where it makes you worry come play-offs, looks like they're clicked and get 'it', then this happens and it makes me think, this bunch are going to get punished again when it matters most.

Feel like we're a couple of ugly, nasty guys short who when it gets tough, they do and make it hard for the opposition to play or get on net. Twice Mrazek's view was entirely blocked, who's clearing house?

Why would we change to a non NHL coach? We should stick with Keefe, he is an NHL coach, and the Leafs are an NHL team. Why would the Leafs fund a coach that can't coach at the NHL level like you are suggesting?

He alone isn’t going to make the defense better. We need a veteran, with size and skating ability. Keep the Liljegren and Sandin pairing together once Sandin is back they have been outstanding. But let’s be honest, we need an upgrade to the defense, our defense core is just not Stanley Cup level. We are one dman a way probably.

While I tend to agree with you, how do they fit him in under the cap

It looks like he's recovering from yet another bad shift and too tired to process anything.

Having said that, Holl's play on the Kubalik goal was baffling. Skating hard, for once, only to double team coverage on his off side and leave his man wide open.

And similarly he did absolutely nothing against Toews on the first goal. Just kept backing into Mrazek letting him walk in and score. Who does that?
