He hasn't played in like 6 weeks and there was no defense in front of him. He is fine.

Great start and nice PP, but that team D is really concerning. Mrazek with an interesting game. Made some stellar saves but then let in a couple of softer goals that made those saves all for naught.

Ever since the goals started coming the defense has fallen off especially with multi-goal leads, and tonight is an example of what it looks like without excerpt goaltending to cover it up.

Injuries are a factor but these are uninspiring wins.

Keefe deserves an instant firing for playing Holl like he's Nick Lidstrom.

Mrazek was decent, team left him out to dry after going up by 3. He made a lot of really solid saves. Same problem with the Leafs as the last 5 years, lazy play and make it way harder than it needs to be.

That's a game that's much more concerning than the Colombus game. They look way too leaky lately. Team defence, defence, and goaltending has all been subpar.

If Dubas believes the guys have really taken a step forward this year (I think they seem a bit more mature than past years,) he needs to go out and get an upgrade on Holl. Muzzin can be salvaged IMO. Holl has looked bad since the last third of last season.

Hopefully they get back on track against the North division.

Very concerning win

Nylander and Tavares were pretty useless after their 3 points
Matthews was dangerous and the best forward
Rubins had a rough game
Holl should be shot into a black hole
Mrazek was ok for his first game back, but he should be much better

a win is a win though so let’s move on

FYI, you would never actually see him enter said black hole, you'd see him basically stuck in stasis just outside the black hole's event horizon for the rest of your life. I hope that is still sufficient.
