Even without Matthews, we should be beating teams like Philadelphia handily on home ice, and we did.

These points we've accumulated on this hot streak have been crucial in trying to secure home ice advantage, which I believe will be a factor with fans in the building.

Leafs are learning how to play these games vs non playoff teams. OTT, NYI, and now PHI. Leafs are rolling. 11 wins in the last 13 games is not nothing. Hopefully Leafs are healthy going into the playoffs. that is the most important thing. Leafs defense really coming together.

Liljegren is just so damn impressive. I see his floor as a minimum top 4 D at this point with definite 1st pairing upside. Already a man at 22 as well.
Management has really done a textbook job of developing him since his draft year. He's starting to look like a steal for his draft position.

That was a satisfying win. Basically locked up home ice.
Our head to heads with T. B and Boston will go a long way in determining our 1st round opponent. Anyone have a preference? ;)

Campbell playing at a level that will give us a chance is sure good to see.

🇺🇦

Nylander and Marner both 30+ goal guys and Matthews 50+, potentially 60.

Rielly over 60 pts. Tavares and Nylander both over 70 pts. 34 and 16 (soon) 100 pt players.

WOW. What a core.
They're all definitely earning their salaries based on their stats, now they all have to carry it over to the playoffs.

This Leafs team will be very scary for opponents in the East through first 3 rounds. Imo, Leafs just have to go balls out in the 1st round and do everything possible and more to win that round.

Once that hurdle has been vanquished, that devil will be exorcised and they won't be playing with the big cloud hanging over entire team and fanbase head.

That game defined ho hum. I'm guessing Thursday will be a little more intense.
I enjoy exhibition games more than what we saw tonight. At certain points of the game I was wondering if fans had been banned from the building, again. Zero atmosphere there.

Can't wait for the electricity to return.

Magic number for home ice is 4pts correct?

Most Tampa can hit is 112, Boston 111?
Hell, technically we CAN still win the division. Florida has to basically lose out and we need to win out but it's possible.
Well considering Florida playa the Habs and Sens in their last 2 games, we can forget about that dream. Lol.

Most of the criticisms about that arena completely disappear once the playoffs start.

I've been fortunate to go to quite a few playoff games under this core, and that place is electric.

Nice to see them win a game they are expected to win.

Liljegren man……. Loving watching this guy. We’ve got something pretty great here with that guy.

Oh yes, trade Matthews, we don’t need him. We keep winning without him…….😂
