Well done Peter Mrazek.
Morgan Rielly plays better when the heat is on.
Mitch Marner with another Marner game. F*** YA!
Tavares can still play.
Gio and Lily looking good.
My confidence in Kamph and Engvall continues to grow.
Mikky with speed to burn, and hands to match, who knew.
Matthews with the snipe.

Wayne and Jason, oh my.
Willy N, god man, please engage, you're young, strong and talented.

Gudas, he's from a different era, and I like him.

I like Engvall's high stick after he was clearly tripped.

Didn't get a good look when Brodie lost his stick near the end but it seemed like a slash they didn't call?

Yeah, and I think Mikheyev got tripped in the Florida zone but why make a call and get in the way of a Florida comeback attempt?

Think Bennett slashed Brodie's stick and broke it.

Great result. Leafs played a very good game. Nice to see them actually playing the game within the game. Tavares battling with Gudas, Mrazek making sure his hat came off. Nice to see the choir boy look dissappear for tonight.

They beat the top scoring team and matched their physicality. Held them to two goals even as they had three PPs and a 4 min. pulled goalie.

Best team D all year. Gio and Lilly were blocking shots and hitting, stellar on bottom pair. Time spread out among D core shows the balance on the backend. Mrazek was solid and dominant at times. Didn't break.

Matthews receives justice with the empty netter after unselfishly passing the puck to Marner on the break.

Lol why are all Leaf teams so damn bi-polar, lay an egg vs the worst team in the league, destroy one of the best. Just weird.

Matthews is a generational goalscorer I truly hope he is here for life, Mikheyev no longer hands of stone I love it, Mrazek above .900 is nice to see lol.

do we really have to rehatch the same stupid comments from yesterday ? no they didnt lay an egg , get over it, this is a good team

Great game by Marner, Mrazek, and Tavares. Nylander again looks like a passenger and the 4th line was awful. Nice bounce back after yesterday.

They didn’t “lay an egg” against Montreal though…

Gio might be my most favourite deadline acquisition in a long time. Exactly what was needed. Creates a steady pair with Lily (awesome mentorship for him too). Has some grittiness, battles in front, and can move the puck.

Really hope they can bring him back next year.

Great game after the loss yesterday.

Entertaining game all around. I enjoyed the pushback of the guys tonight. Florida is a physical team and the Leafs matched them.

Matthews was off today, but nice troll goal to end it. My fantasy team enjoys that.

4th line is toast.

Bunting - Matthews- Marner
Knies - Tavares - Nylander
Mik - Kampf - Engvall
Blackwell - Kerfoot - Abruzzese

One of Simmonds or Spezza will still be in the lineup, but I find it hard to believe that Abruzzese does not replace one of the guys only playing 6 or 7 minutes tonight.

I am actually surprised Blackwell only played in 7:35 today. It seems like he was getting some shifts on the higher lines. Definitely deserves more than that.
