Post-Game Talk: Leafs win 5-2

Hope all the Debbie downers from yesterday watched this win.

No this win doesn’t prove that the Leafs will win in the playoffs.

All it proves is that the Leafs are a good team and you shouldn’t judge them after every single damn game. Relax and watch.

Leafs had a great game yesterday against the Habs, just got unlucky and goalied. They played another pretty good game tonight and deserved that win.

They were physical and were great defensively. Mrazek was very good, especially in the last 5 or so minutes. Marner was a beast.

The 4th line though was atrocious. Keefe needs to figure it out. They didn't have A SINGLE SHOT on net. That's unacceptable.

Mrazek plays so much better when he doesn't play overly aggressive in the net, less scrambled effort from him tonight and in his previous start.

If you don't play scrambly, then you don't have to make miraculous saves to try and get back into position. Very sound positionally tonight.

Nice win boys! Mrazek did the job and Marner was fantastic. Nice to see JT score.

I don't get why Florida is held in such high regard when they've had zero playoff success as well.

I think they get more flowers for really beating down on competition when things are rolling, and I would bet they don't drop as many games to cellar dwellers like the Leafs do.

Gotta give Mrazek and Tavares a ton of credit for the win tonight vs Florida. Marner with a big night assist wise, Matthews made that boneheaded play on the breakaway but got one back on the EN. Mikheyev's goal was massive. Liljegren looked very strong tonight. The refs tried their best to produce a Florida victory and made a valiant attempt reviewing that EN goal but no dice tonight.

I like Engvall's high stick after he was clearly tripped.

Didn't get a good look when Brodie lost his stick near the end but it seemed like a slash they didn't call?
