juts don't mention the Vegas game then...
We've played a lot of games this season, last night's game happened to be against NYI so why would I mention the Vegas game?
juts don't mention the Vegas game then...
I expect Campbell to start the next game.Gotta run with mrazek for a bit, even if he loses the next game.
We got him for a reason and that’s to make both goalies compete.
Not during the season, no. They’re going to need two good goalies to get through this condensed schedule.Mrazek isn’t going anywhere
Does every single post you make have to dovetail somehow into how you’d rather watch wwe on ice?Yeh, Mrazek dud what no other Leaf should be doing. Nice victory but guys like Parise took runs ( 4 on 1 shift by his line). AM gets knocked down..nothing.
In a series this will kill us again
Not during the season, no. They’re going to need two good goalies to get through this condensed schedule.
Come off season nothing is off the table and it would depend on how much Campbell gets
Right now there’s a touch under $5.5m for the goalies, if Campbell gets 4.5 you can afford $1m for a back up. If Campbell wants 5-6-7 like some doomsayers around here suggest he walks and you sign holtby Halak Husso or vanacek to be the 1b for what Campbell was making give or take and run them with Mrazek in a tandem. You probably need $3.1m (minimum) for Soup and $750k-$1m for a backup. Only way Mrazek remains a Leaf is if Soup does not.
Don't like it, don't read it, because all you do is love everything they do. You seem like you enjoy losing. 1967.Does every single post you make have to dovetail somehow into how you’d rather watch wwe on ice?
Pretty good game last night. The team played with more structure even after getting the 3-1 lead.
Maybe their conditioning and mental sharpness are coming back.
They still pass abit too much on the PP
I expect Campbell to start the next game.
No I don’t remember the bathgate trade, I’m not seventy years old. Also, I hardly like everything they do and have more than my fair share of criticism of the the team. Fake toughness isn’t one of them.Don't like it, don't read it, because all you do is love everything they do. You seem like you enjoy losing. 1967.
I would trade Austin M for a cup.
Remember Bathgate trade. 5 for 2. Seiling, Brown Duff and Nevin were all regulars. Guts and a cup.
Ps I do not want to trade AM, just making point
WTF is fake toughness. No I don’t remember the bathgate trade, I’m not seventy years old. Also, I hardly like everything they do and have more than my fair share of criticism of the the team. Fake toughness isn’t one of them.
What you go on on about saying they need. Bottom of the line up stiffs who contribute 0 to the impact of the game.WTF is fake toughness.
I do not care bottom on line up or top toughness. What you go on on about saying they need. Bottom of the line up stiffs who contribute 0 to the impact of the game.
If somebody thinks he can be the answer to their goaltending problems, I'd rather move him and the remaining two years on his contract now than in the summer, sign Soup and look for a veteran backup like Holtby or Halak.
Agreed. Can’t see this tandem being split up until the off-season when the capAnd go into the playoffs with an injury prone Campbell and Hutch?
Can't say I agree with you this time.
Only Duff and Nevin were regulars in 63-64.Don't like it, don't read it, because all you do is love everything they do. You seem like you enjoy losing. 1967.

Islanders might not be offensively gifted as Avs, Vegas, Rangers or the Blues but if the boys played the way they did before agains the Islanders, I think Islanders will end up taking the lead.Islanders aren't exactly a wagon offense, but I think it was good timing to work on holding the lead and get that structure and confidence back.
Locking it down with a massive 4-1 lead shouldn't be a highwire act without a net. A team just needs a quick checklist of the following: balance the tendency to go into shell mode and give the other team life or keep playing and frustrating with a demoralizing forecheck. Risk reward ratio for pushing for more offense vs shutting it down entirely and getting cold. Maintain good structure and leverage the clock, burn up time, etc. Nothing crazy but just takes a bit of mental focus and everyone buying in.
Ah, another keyboard genius who's never played or coached a contact sport in their life. What you go on on about saying they need. Bottom of the line up stiffs who contribute 0 to the impact of the game.
