Good win. Mrazek was solid. Held a lead, like usual.

Not that it really helped them much, but the amount of interference the Islanders got away with tonight was crazy.

Marner was great except on the power play. The power play wasn't very good. Can't pin that all on Marner but I would like to see Nylander put in a shooting position and Marner play behind the net or as bumper or on the 2nd unit.
Great points
Personally I think that our biggest challenge on our PP , is the lack of a big shooting gun at the point .
We have to many passers on the 1St unit …
A pP is like a Olympic team in a sense , so the best Olympic team has to be made up of a assortment of talents and possibilities of scoring from everywhere in different ways .
We don’t have that , we are to One dimensional and predictable and easy to defend in the playoffs ..
we need a point man that will spread out thePK unit ..

They had no business getting to the 3rd round last year. Jarry just decided to put his Islanders jersey on in the Pens series.

Their entire game plan is waiting for the other team to choke. Not a bad plan for the first few series, especially when the Pens/Caps/Canes seem just as capable of doing so as we are right now, but as soon as you start getting to the later rounds, a game plan of only capitalizing on other team's mistakes never works... Because those teams rarely make mistakes.

A nice solid game for Mrazek, hopefully he continues that and we can give Soup a bit more rest down the stretch

I thought there was a massive improvement defensively, the young guys still have plenty to learn but you can see the talent

A nice professional effort all around, things were getting a bit load so nice to quiet things down a bit

I'm hoping this will be a repeat of the victory against Chicago a few games in to the season, where you can't be that proud because the opponent was utter garbage, but it's the start of something bigger.

You know what's kinda crazy?

I feel like we just went through a bit of a bad spell, and I was expecting it actually......

Yet we're 7-2-1 in our last ten games?

Bruins are 8-2-0, Panthers are similar,

It's the Lightning at 6-3-3 who are maybe not propelling forward the same lately.....

Interesting! These four teams though, just win win win all the time for the most part. You gotta think at worst Leafs get a wild card spot.

I'm just saying, at worst!

We've got a really awesome team right now. Let's hope it doesn't go to waste again in the first round.

Need Mrazek to have a couple of these strong starts in a row. Need his numbers to get better fast if he's going to have some trade value in the summer.

Yes, the resale value is important, but also consider if he has a strong 25 game push that also helps us in season. And will open up a whole can of worms about whether you roll with a cheaper Mrazek or splurge on re-signing Campbell with no safety net. Fun Bettman cap headaches, downloaded to the fanbase.

Cringe, I almost feel bad for him. That man child calling anyone a loser is funny though.

Leafs beating the Fishdicks on the Island always brings me joy, thank you Leafs

Right, so you're a Rangers fan with a an avatar picture of my old friend Gomer (seriously fat34 face looks just like a guy I knew in high school, it's creepy!)

Also, isn't that clip old? I swear that was from a game long ago, not tonights game.

Had them out there defending the lead late in the third. After the game Lily has against the Rangers, it’s nice that Keefe is giving him a chance to get back out there in tougher usage

I've been really impressed with Lily. Started to think he'd never make it, I think he's a perfectly developed responsible Dman with a little bit more upside still there maybe. He should be a solid 2nd or 3rd pair D man for us for a long time but not get a big contract, which is good.

Where we picked him, you take that every day.
