A couple observations. Bunting has to be way better to justify first line minutes, he was really ineffective and for my money the worst forward last game.

Boosh actually played more 5 v 5 than any other game, Keefe had him out with a minute to go which was new wrinkle and speaks to his play. Leads in hits, had 5 key blocks last night and he was really solid, maybe his best game so far.

Bunting seems to be playing light (in a bad way) and making poor, tired decisions with the puck and not effective as a pest.

Either Leafs will handsomely or Vasi will finally go into god mode the Leafs will lose 2-1 or 3-1 EN.

I don’t want to say anything negative about Vasi because he’s been a shutout pitching god in Game 7’s of late but if he’s fatigued or flagging in any way you gotta create a ton of buzz around the crease and ram that puck down his throat.

Bottom line game 7s are coin flips .. lets hope da coin flips da right way .. we have been slightly better team in regular season and this series so lets hope hockey gods reward teams effort so far

In a way, this is kind of uncharted territory. The first time this group has true home ice, a full rink of fans behind this team!

I know people are nervous (rightly so) but I'm feeling good about a game 7. This team has shown a lot over the past six games and even yesterday was quite impressive.

This is not a team that's barely hanging on.

I feel this team will have a much better response to game 7 pressure than previous versions just based on what they have shown so far.

I think we win this, just hope the refs don’t f*** us as hard as they did in game 6. An absolutely shameful performance by the zebras, the series should be over already.
As Red Green used to say, keep your stick on the ice. Had we done that, this would have ended in 60. Leafs found new ways to defeat themselves

In some ways the stakes feel even higher this year. In the past, we've shot ourselves in the foot at every turn in the playoffs, and ultimately our losses exposed our own fragility; this year, we look and feel like a team that has a legitimate shot at the cup, and yet we could easily bow out in round 1 through no fault of our own.

Can't call out the refs. Embarrassing the refs/league would be a huge mistake. You think the refs were aweful before? It would be a shit show.

I think the thing that has me so confident and jacked up about Saturday's game 7 is that after game 6 the message wasn't "woe is me", "the refs f***ed us", "we got to be better"...etc

This was a clearly pissed off group of men that took the podium at their post game presser's. They knew they deserved that win. They took the game 6 loss personally. Just like the B2B champs did after losing game 1 and 3.

We will win this game on Saturday. The boys will be ready

They've put 3+ past Vasi every game of this series.

Eventually, you feel that he's going to figure it out and close the door.

This is my biggest fear, and is exactly why I'll be betting big on the under for game 7. I think Vasi shuts the Leafs out

We play like last game I’m confident we pull this out
This whole we lose first round, lose game 7 nonsense will stop
They battled, felt throughout the game we had them, Tampa was out until the refs gave the 5-3
It’s the only reason Tampa is still playing so as long as we step up and play tmw there’s no reason we can’t win this
They look serious about this
Enough is enough, it’s our time, we deserve it

I'm not sure if I'll tune in for this game. The past 6 years have been a little bit overwhelming for me. That's just speaking as a fan. I can just imagine how hard it is on Mathews, Marner, Nylander and Morgan who have been through the whole thing.

Exactly. I feel it will be a repeat of last years game 7. Price shut out the Leafs till Nylander scored a meaningless goal. Maybe it will be different with the fans in the building. If they are eliminated I hope this is the last we see of Dubas, Keefe, Campbell and Nylander.

I find it hilarious when the default response to "fire Dubas" is assuming that person wants to return to the clownshow Burke/Nonis days. How about some fans want more for this team than just being eliminated in 7 games every year or worse? Would you really rather make it 7 first round losses in a row next year than actually search for a better option than Dubas?
Why not cross that bridge if it happens?,
