Last night was a gut wrenching loss, but I still think they pull it off in game 7 tomorrow. They've proven that they can compete with the Lightning, and you can even argue that the Leafs have been the better overall team in the series.

JT and Willy have woken up these past 2 games, and they looked real dangerous on the ice last night. Matthews was buzzing all night as well, he's getting at least 2 in game 7. Mitchy didn't have the best game offensively last night, but he's been great overall in the series. I'm expecting him to have a much better game tomorrow night.

I know that it can be tough to stay optimistic with this team based on its recent playoffs failures. I truly feel that it will be different this year though. The boys look hungry and determined. They're skating hard, blocking shots, finishing their checks. They're playing playoffs hockey, while still scoring goals. That is huge for their confidence.

The crowd Saturday is going to be loud, and the Buds are going to feed off that energy. I'll be cheering just as loud at home. Keep the faith, Leafs will be moving on to round 2!

Killorn just practicing water skiing last night knowing his seasons about to end or what? Jesus

I can't believe I'm about to say this about our home fans, because it hasn't been the case in so long

Game 7 on Saturday night IN TORONTO with OUR CROWD. This is going to be f***ing wild. Blow the roof off the ACC and send Tampa packing. This team is RIGHT there

Campbell needs to keep the door closed the first period. Can't start off another game on the back foot

I feel like Game 7 is going to be a lot like Game 1.

Just don't be stupid with the puck and we'll win.

It’s torture being a Leafs fan. This could be the 3rd time in 4 seasons where they had a 3-2 lead only to blow it. Just sickening. They better get it done tomorrow. Some fans are married to this core and Dubie, for what? They only cause heartbreak.
Have you experienced the alternative? A decade where Phil Kessel was our best player and somehow Phaneuf was our captain?

Need Marner/Matthews to close the series out. Both have had a A- series. A multi point night in game 7 and a win gets it to A+.

Sisters getting married so won't be watching this game which is honestly for the best as I genuinely don't want to watch game 7. Will follow the score from time to time. Praying for a win, but totally expecting a 4-1 loss.

Prove us wrong TML

Leafs have the winning recipe vs Tampa and need to execute it. Come out big and be the dominant force on home ice and run them out of the building. Tampa was on the ropes and didn’t have the biggest push to start Game 6 in the first period. Pad that margin so NHL officiating can’t decide things. Everyone knows what to do.

Yea, so? Doesn’t mean I want to get attached to this core and management either. I want a Stanley Cup, or at least an exciting playoff run where they go deep. Get me someone who can get it done.

My opinion, if we lose this core it will take at least another decade before we have another contending team.

We wouldn't have even made the final if it wasn't for a very lucky bounce off a rim heard around the world.

Its a lot easier to change the makeup of a team when only a few guys play the entire game.

You could argue Dubas went out and got them a guy to help them win the Championship. It might not have worked out. Players in hockey don't move around like they do in other sports. Top guys don't move until they're like near retirement and heading downhill.

Score first. thats the key.

I believe in the guys and have full confidence in them. Like matthews said, time to put your balls on the line.

Hes confident. and when hes confident, watch the hell out

Hey guys. Live out of town and don't go up often, does anyone know when they make the tailgate tickets open to reserve? Looking for 2

This is gonna be a loss. I have zero positivity about this one. Leafs have had no games where they get a lot of breaks and luck, and it definitely won't be on a cursed night game 7.

Yesterday I was nervous about game 6. But now I am excited. I have never felt so good going into an all or nothing game with this team TBH.

Not because I think they will 100% win, but I think we are going to at the very least see the effort worthy of a game 7. These games are coin flips when it comes down to 2 teams of this caliber. All we really can ask for is a solid effort. I am proud of the way these guys have competed this year. Aside from game 4, this has been the most playoff ready squad we have seen from this core. Nothing to be ashamed about. We are playing the B2B champs, and playing them well.

I am ready for any and all outcomes. Just give me the same effort we've seen all series (sans game 4)

There's a dark timeline lurking in the back of my mind where in the span of a week...

1. Toronto blows a lead late in an elimination game, then loses G7 and the curse lives on.
2. Boston wins a heart and soul victory as an underdog.
3. Edmonton comes back against LA.
4. Montreal wins the draft lotto.

I don't want to believe, but this dread lives in the back of my mind like a cancer!

2-4 are irrelevant. My buddy texted me before Game 5 on Tuesday as I was walking into the arena, something about how it sucks that the Habs won the lottery. My response was essentially 'we have bigger fish to fry'. Not concerned about any other team right now.

Their fate is in their hands, nothing we can do but sit back and enjoy the show boys and girls.

Will we finally get over the hump? Buck that demon off of our back? And go on a wild run? Or will we cower like we have so many times before this again? And see this lineup for the last time together?
