The refs are engineers of arrangements. O Dog should know this, but many don't guess he is one of them.

If Toronto loses tomorrow, then I am full of crap, if they win. Well, guess some people will start thinking outside of the obalisk from now on.

Jesus, this place is bleak

I wouldn't want to be in a foxhole with about 95% of you and you're negative attitudes

This team is bloody good, Tampa won in OT at home by the skin of there teeth but I'm supposed to believe we can't win this thing at home in game 7? Bull****

You bet your ass we can win and we will, that's how much I believe in these guys after watching them this entire season

WE CAN AND WE WILL
Until they give us a reason not to be bleak, it will continue to be that way.

Can’t say I disagree with him. If you say the leafs need to play like they have balls yet you can’t even watch the game maybe you (not you specifically) need a cup check as well.
Wtf are you talking about

You're full of crap regardless

You don’t draw penalties by possessing the puck. You draw penalties by challenging the defence by entering dangerous areas.

The first one looked enough like a high stick that the referee had to call it. Upon video review, Foote should get fined after the game. The second one was an obvious call.
You don't "have" to call things that don't happen. In fact, you don't call them at all

And if you do f*** up the first, you call the two obvious elbows in OT that snapped heads back or the hold on Matthews

Tampa is a very formidable opponent but you're attempting to make them appear better than they are

An opportunity to clinch a series is when you have 3 wins and can get the 4th. In their cup run last year for instance, Tampa had an opportunity to clinch a series 7 times:

Round 1 versus Florida:
Chance to clinch in game 5 - Lost
Chance to clinch in game 6 - Won

Round 2 versus Carolina:
Chance to clinch in game 5 - won

Round 3 versus NYI:
Chance to clinch in game 6 - lost
Chance to clinch in game 7 - won

Round 4 versus Montreal:
Chance to clinch in game 4 - lost
Chance to clinch in game 5 - won

You're literally removing all the unsuccessful opportunities they had to clinch to give them that 8-0 record. Why are you doing that?
Highlighting because it's worth reposting. Not sure why @Mess would purposely lie and then ignore this....

This is a strict no watch game for me this year. Not saying our guys will lose but I’d rather avoid all the tension and drama this year.

We win, I’ll be ecstatic. Lose, and I’ll be infuriated.
If you are going to feel that way anyway, you may as well get value for your feelings and watch the game.

I cannot wait to watch. I have zero confidence, faith or belief... but I am a fan of the team, and I want them to win... so it's a no brainer for me.

My guess is that the refs are from the Ontario area, and are trying to prove that they are not biased see I call penalties on Toronto logic. But in doing so they are unknowingly anti Toronto biased.

The league is anti Toronto biased because they do not want to add any fuel to the already massive Toronto sports media dumpster fire. They know that any little thing will have 100 articles about it the next day or the same day so they continually try and defuse the situation.

Like not even contemplating penalizing Tampa for the phantom high-sticking embellishment because they do not want to draw more attention to it.

All that said it's time for the Maple Leafs to say screw you and win

Been having a tough day today after last night's result - but putting $500 down on Tampa to win tomorrow at 2.05, has made me feel much better.

I love it when someone says leaf fans are negative
And then goes on to say if you don't agree with me you're basically a hater

You would think game 6 was a 8-0 towling the way people are talking about the team and it's chances

I've never called anybody on here a "hater", that's your word friend

It's gonna be an easy win here folks.

The only chance TBay has if something crazy like the refs decide to gift them a 2 minute 2 man advantage to tie it up at the end.

But that won't ever happen so no worries.

Have you watched this series? This is the 2 time cup champions were playing and have matched through 6 games

Bleak is having you're ass handed to you by a superior team or finding a way to lose to a worse one

That isn't us and we're at home game 7, that means something when you're playing this well

I’m worried about Campbell versus Vasilevsky.

I know we have Vasi’s number this series but this is game 7.

It being game 7 makes that much of a difference in terms of performance? I never got that
Guy is elite has played ok in 6 games and all of a sudden just because it’s game 7 it’s guaranteed he goes lights out, just turns a switch?
Well you know what it’s game 7…maybe matthews scores 4?

I usually do not have conspiracy theories, but damn I bet the NHL wants that Florida Tampa series..... just a thought

I don't think the Leafs factored into the referees minds yesterday at all.

Moreso, I think it was a young inexperienced referee paralyzed by a desire to NOT want to make a call which could potentially end the B2B champs' season.

Last year, Game 7 felt like walking to the gallows. This season, I'm more confident in the Leafs' ability to win given how they've played, but just based on reffing and curses, I can see us ending up with a loss.
All depends on how the play.

Games 7 & 5 against the Habs and CBJ were embarrassing losses due to the piss poor efforts. Come out and go toe to toe with Tampa and let the chips fall where they may. But if they come out flat again, then significant changes have to be made.
