GDT: Leafs vs Sens by default

I agree with you. I think the main reason you haven’t heard many people talking about our goaltending issues lately is because Toronto has been winning a crap load of games over the last three weeks due to their obscenely offensive output. I still like to have the conversations because it’s going to be an issue if they don’t fix it, I don’t care how good Marner and Matthews have been, it’s a team game and if your goaltender can’t make routine saves, then they are toast. I don’t complain just to complain, I usually try to provide my negativities with some logic and reasoning behind it.
 
Another Saturday night against a bottom feeder. Think I’ve seen this movie before.

They have lost interest in getting into the crease, something they were doing earlier in their sasoin. This could be a problem (also one of the reasons I felt Ritchie might be of value come playoffs).

Every team plays the same boxed defense against the Leafs, allowing them to play in the perimeter. DJ Smith knows this well and it is what this team will face in the post season.

No interest in getting to the net and taking bruises, no playoff success. Sabres played the same defense with ease.

So yes, this lack of net drive worries me. It's two different seasons. This can't be forgotten.

Leafs refuse to get up and crush lesser opponents, it's infuriating.
Matthews and Mitchy seem to be going on a little cooler right before the playoffs, this is totes fine.

Yeah after the 2nd period against Washington I thought they were already being handed the Stanley cup. Tonight it seems they're going out in 4.
