Would be nice to fleece Rutherford but so far 5-0 with boudreau as coach, might've already turned their season around if that keeps up.

Our best opportunity would've been Benning, would've LOVED to somehow steal JT Miller for a package around Kerfoot, a 1st and a B-level prospect

Woud have been a thuggish joy indeed mi'lord. Van is now on the uprise into the playoss so we might take anotha soulja at the deadline. Some total jerk like kane. E sire. For life.
 
Don’t feel good about this one. Oilers have been abysmal. Talks of getting Tippet fired should be enough ammo for McCry and Co to win this.

They’d want this year’s first and not even for JT- I’ve seen it posted on the Rangers board how he may have had some issues there, and now this; I’m not saying he was complicit in the atmosphere in Vancouver, but he was more than tangentially involved in some of the drama.

I would love Hoglander though, or Demko or even EP, he’d look nice on the wing beside Tavares.

If I was a Canucks fan I’d be pissed how long it took to fire Benning and Green, but even with this five game streak it’s probably too late.

The league is getting tighter at the top, a few years ago teams wanted minimum 93 points to make the playoffs, now it’s .600 (98 pts) or bust.

Last year only three teams made it with less than a 93 point pace.

I don’t see the Canucks playing .679 hockey the rest of the year, I see them finishing 20th at the absolute best but more likely 24-27th and once again picking 9th overall.

Ah well…
 
Feeling good about tomorrow nights game. Looking forward to the Draistl post game interview when they ask him why they can’t beat the Leafs

Paid $100 Canadian to go watch him in the lower bowl light up the Coyotes in Glendale before Covid shut things down for awhile. Well that didnt happen, Coyotes out played him and the rest of that team shut them out too.
 
I still want someone to beat up Kassian for taking that run against Tavares last year

I’m disappointed, only 3 pages for a pregame? The Edmonton board had 8 pages and the GDT has a freakin comic strip featuring our team, the center of the hockey universe, against theirs, which is basically McDrai and a bunch of scrubs.

No wonder sOiler fans only care about McDrai winning the scoring title and Hart trophies, that’s the entirety of their team. Playoffs? They don’t care. Defence? What’s that? Don’t you dare suggest anyone else should be in the Hart conversation or there’ll be a bunch of northern Albertans getting angry and picking up their pitchforks to come after you.

it's their stanley cup game, for us its another tuesday, but with mcdavid and hyman now, so maybe tad more interesting

Lmao I had the most REALISTIC dream last night we traded Matthews, Sandin and a 1st for McDavid.

Was hilarious because the hockey world had a meltdown and in his interview he says 'You thought I was going to wait another 5 years to come home".

Funny enough, If Matthews does bolt for home, McDavid comes up a year later and could do the same. Anyways just some nonsense for you guys.
