Oilers are making it easy to matchup, McDrai on line one with nothing after that
Hyman out as well

Dermott back. I'm worried they are scratching Liljegren.
Lol I forgot the d men we still had. That makes more sense. Ignore my last post.Nah he'll replace Rubins.
Wonder if they are going through some trezades sire. Ritchie might be gone at deadline, if he ain't gangstaying it up more than this... he should be scoring more also sire. But yeah, we already have enough gangstas, so don't you worry bout a damn thang. Lets see what dubas does here.
Pleasently surprised Keefe didn't stick with Muzzin-Holl. Mikhayev has taken Ritchie's spot.
Leafs really need to acquire a center for depth. Easier said than done I suppose.
Engvall showed he's just not an every day center, and I know Seney or Steeves are not centers either. For a few games, it's not that big of a deal I guess.

Kerfoot 'can' play there... but I think we all agree he is way better on the wing. Spezza can play it as well (4th line only). Not sure many teams have that kind of depth and I think we have other pressing needs (top 4 D perhaps) but it is a good observation.
How is it not the same thing? You say they are simply due for a win? Are the Leafs not due to win a playoff series if the whole reason you think the Oilers are due to win is because of their losing streak?
No team is due anything. You get what you put in.
The Islanders were "due" to win against us in their new arena after losing so many games and even after losing to us, they lost about 5 more times before they won the game they were due.

I mean their depth forwards do stink (they have one good player in the bottom 6 in Foegele but he's actually one of their top 6 forwards because Yamamoto is actually terrible even if in the bottom 6)...but this is still taking plenty of responsibility off of their Big 2 who are nowhere near as dominant 5v5 as their reputation suggests.
I don't get it with the Oilers. You'd think it would be easier for them to have McDavid, Draisaitl buy into a two way concept and try to win more lower scoring, low event games with two gamebreakers at their disposal. But the constant complaint would have you think they're trying to build 4 lines that can win a track meet.
