Watch out for Anderson to score a goal or two. He's cold with no goals in 11 games. Last time Leafs played he had 2 goals.
Really feels like this dude only elevates his play for games against us. Usually good for at least a goal each time we play them but his season totals are so underwhelming

It is a statement of fact. We can all see what you're doing, and it's not the first time you've done it since you created this account a week ago.

There's a reason people aren't posting about it. Because your narratives are wrong, unsupported, and either miss or ignore pretty obvious reasons. Not because you're the one remaining bastion of truth to expose the hidden meaning and conspiracies behind every mundane and completely normal action or decision.
You are projecting an awful lot that is not there. You see me as thinking I think this about me. All I think about me is I like to speak to certain parts of stories that are germane to the issue that others don't. I don't think it makes me anything other than that.

My opinion should not draw the angst it has, but that's because this appears to be a personal affront to you. Why? Oh no! Someone thinks this might affect Mikheyev and I don't want to talk about that? Shame him! Shun him! How dare he!

Does this have any affect on Mikheyev, or not? If it does, this entire exercise has been futile.

Yes, they do. It affects every single one of them...and it is worthy of discussion when the one it affects this time wanted out due to lack of opportunity. Now, he's been removed from PP2. How do you think that might affect him when it's the off-season? He's going to re-up with the Leafs, or leave?

We all get warm and fuzzies when the Leafs do these little gestures and extrapolate them into why other guys want to play here, but when a guy who already has expressed a desire to leave over lack of opportunity gets his opportunity reduced it is all of a sudden irrelevant to anything? Imbalanced, to me.
If he's that petty, do we want him on the team?

You are the first person in the history of hockey to lament the "human toll" of one change in a team's 2nd PP unit.

Congrats.
This is a nice way to never have to address the actual issue.

Did Mikheyev want out of the Leafs org for lack of opportunity? Yes.

Does removing him from PP2 reduce his opportunity? Yes.

Will this play a role in whether he leaves or re-signs in the off-season? Maybe.

If you can show me the error of my ways with any of the above, I'll strongly consider changing my opinion.

He's a UFA who's already making $1.6M. I doubt he'll back. I'd also be wary about signing or re-signing Russian playsers because of potential visa issues.

Do you feel the same about Lyubushkin? Don't want him back due to potential visa issues?

Hey buddy how ya doing?

I don't see it that way at all but understand why you would. I like the full story, all angles, etc.

Often, when it comes to fandom, it is the exact opposite. Positive spin is always in.

In this case, part of this story is who is being moved off PP2, while most of the focus is about who is on.

There is no balance to the actual full story without mentioning Mikheyev missing and the effect it may have on him.

This is why I posted what I posted. It is a major part of this story that will be largely ignored. That creates imbalance.

And, it is an odd move considering I don't recall this ever happening in the Keefe-era. Why are they doing it? The explanation is strange. It has always been that way in the Keefe-era so why do they all of a sudden care about D pairs post-PP2? Should always ask why.
I see lots of merit in it actually. PP1 usually gets about 70% of the PP time. The one thing we have lacked is a big shot from the point on the PP and Gio has that, and Lil has shown to have a decent shot too. Completely changes the look and adds a different element, while keeping D pairs aligned right after it's over. Worth a look!

Btw... gotta win... f***ing bruins beat isles and now in 2nd in the division

Wont be able to watch this one since ill be at the Raptors game but I sincerely hope the Leafs give the Habs a bad beating.

Go leafs go

useless meaningless filler game against an irrelevant team. bring on florida and boston (our next 2 games)
Bro they humiliated us HOW many times now? This game may be irrelevant to you but I hate losing to the toilet seats with a passion and rather beat the Habs then lose a game to Florida, assuming it's a close well played game

Wow I never knew the possibility of a 1st round matchup with the bruins was actually a possibility. They're on fire

Leafs giving up points like charity to shit teams like Arizona, Canucks, Ottawa, montreal etc... hopefully doesn't come back to bite them on their ass when it comes to playoff positioning

Mikheyev wants a big contract, that's all.

I can't blame him. He's a bit older, and the clock is ticking.

He will go where ever they pay him the most money, and that is very unlikely to be the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Leafs should play him in the way that's the best for the Leafs through the duration of his contract.

Booting Mikheyev off PP2 isn't good PR, but I'm glad they're more about things that aren't PR. If Mikheyev wanted out for not getting enough opportunity, before, he really has to feel slighted now.

Not a fan of the dual Dmen on PP2. To me, that's saying we believe you're more likely to get scored upon than score, so we'll throw out a D pair. I can read the explanation, but where has that been the entire time Keefe has been here. Why do they care about D pairs after PP all of a sudden?
Both Liljegren and Gio have hard point shots, could be a way of changing up strategy from the 1st PP which is fancy tic tac toe plays to get in front of the goalie, hammer it on net, bang home rebounds

Keefe or someone, at the very least, need to make a side comment on Svechnikov getting nothing for his crosscheck to the head. Ridiculous how Matthews gets 2 games, but Svech, who is a hot head, gets nothing
