If Toronto had the same record as Fla over the last 10 they would be one point behind Fla with the same # of games played. We belly ache about this team a lot but they are 5th in win % and one of the best teams in the league and that is with poor goaltending

The 2 points are huge
disagree. doesnt matter who we face in round 1. nor does home ice. in fact, id rather start on the road - pressure is on the home team. only games that will get us battle tested and playoff ready are the ones against playoff teams, especially the top 3 in our division. the rest are just filler/bragging rights. we're not going to learn anything about this team from beating bottom feeders like the scabs.

Yeah...given that PP2 has sucked anyways, and barely gets any time, I think this is all about the shift after the PP - this way he's got Gio-Lilly on the ice already, and can put the Mikky-Kampf-Engvall line right out there at the end of every PP which is usually when the other team puts their top line on the ice.

Obvious rotation but man Mrazek sure leaves you with an uneasy feeling.
Like we might have to scesore a load of goals againt that fool florida squad sire. They hard like that. They get routine wins like that sire. They ain't need no joe thornton at all. He only makes that team worse. He can only stand, sit and speak nowadays sire. That's why even we got rid of that sucka. He should have quit the game already and only speak on the bench and behind to be exact. Thornton is not getting any stats recorded when he plays, he is so old and slow.

But yeah, we might score ice hockey goals agains that team, cause we have to.

I'm a vengeful sort and i want to see a good old fashion beating laid on those bums. Boosh smashing Caufield into orbit would be a nice bonus too.

There's a good chance that the Habs will be officially eliminated from the playoffs tonight so they'll have nothing to lose tomorrow. We can't take this game lightly.

One wish for this game: Win or lose the Leafs set a season high for hits.
There's a handful of Habs I'd love to see hit so hard they smear into board advertising. Actually, any of them will do.

Booting Mikheyev off PP2 isn't good PR, but I'm glad they're more about things that aren't PR. If Mikheyev wanted out for not getting enough opportunity, before, he really has to feel slighted now.

Not a fan of the dual Dmen on PP2. To me, that's saying we believe you're more likely to get scored upon than score, so we'll throw out a D pair. I can read the explanation, but where has that been the entire time Keefe has been here. Why do they care about D pairs after PP all of a sudden?

"Just hit them hard, I don’t care if we win, lowly habs are irrelevant anyways."

This speaks volumes.....

In reality, they've been eliminated from the playoffs since the beginning of the season.
