Sandin turned over the puck, lead to a rush, rebound which Sandin also kind of helped them get the puck into the opposition's stick and score.
Lily tried to make a long pass, leads to an offensive rush, they make quick of the goal and forwards didnt bust their ass to recoup either.

Puck handling and shot have been off all year.

I think trading Reilly in the offseason for someone better in the defensive zone would make us a better team.

Rielly is often quietly not that effective. He’s not a strong, offensively dynamic defenseman, not great on the power play and defensively is ok.
its crossed my mind. But the guy does a lot. Besides him and lilj our guys aren't great at carrying out of the zone.

Jeff O'Neill is spot on with how you don't start a game with a 60 goal scorer on the bench, to put your 4th line out against their top line and let them dictate the flow. Surprise, Keefe's inexperience costs this team yet again. Surprise, they once again are trying to play to the will of their opponent.
As a life time Keefe hater, I will disagree with you
Really shouldn't matter if it's the 1st minute or last minute, that 4th line has been decent enough to trust
That play had very little to do with the 4th line more to do with Sandin

The fourth line is responsible for our only goal and wasn’t even on the ice for the first goal against IIRC. It was Jarnkrok and line 3
That goal is on Sandin for the misplay

Great point by oneill in the studio... you never start a game with the 4th line if you aint got killers and jackas in the fourth line. Like simmonds domi tucker McLaren orr Brown wilm corson etc. But not with dolls. Bad coaching by keefe there.

I don’t think we ought to get more defensive in that number one role. We need a better transition defenseman. Imagine a silky smooth Kaberle bringing that puck up through traffic in the neutral zone.

4th line only thing in the early start of the fame and game is to send a message. With hits and fights. We aint have that 4th line
