One goal in 7 games last post-season, 2 in 5 games against the lowly Blue Jackets two seasons ago, 1 goal in 7 games against Boston in 2017-2018 series. 2 in 4 games in this series.

Matthews is doing what he always does in the playoffs. Not score goals.

2 in game one and one of those was 5 on 3, the other was a gift.

I think it's more a symptom of how little ice time he sees consistently. Keefe has to be the coach I have seen the most whom overcoaches and obsesses about line matching more than anything. Breaking up the first line after game 1 despite them having 3 goal contributions, bringing in Holl despite Lily and Gio being our best pairing and absolutely zero adjustments to the PP despite no movement being seen on any PP in 3 games. I realize some of this has to fall on the players if not most, but Keefe's decisions are baffling to say the least.

Kallgren has looked solid since coming in against some good looks.

I'm saying if Jack spots a couple of quick goals in game 5 like he did today then you go Kallgren. He might be barely an NHL goalie but he doesn't have expectations on him like Jack does. Jack is mentally very fragile

Looks like the bad old Leafs in the middle/late stages of a playoff round. Tampa forechecked hard for 1 minute and the whole house of cards fell apart in Game 4, so who knows what happens in the next two. No killer instinct.

I think you are being generous saying Matthews has been average. Need so much more out of him than what we have seen so far.
