the momentum completely switched when they had 4 penalties missed in like a 3 min span. Then called the last 2 against the leafs. Just nuts. It’s embarassing for the league

It's super cringy to look at the reffing alone, as the reason, however. They're being outshot 49/25.

That why they have to keep drafting like they do. Johnson and Kadri will come off the cap this year, freeing up 10.5 million that will be distributed among their FA's.

They're definitely going to lose some key pieces. That's life!

I think they also want to try and trade Sam Girard in order to keep Kadri

Which goes to show the over reaction of everyone melting down.

The Leafs do not blow games all the time. They do know how to play with a lead and are caught shorthanded, playing the best home team in the league, who happens to also be the highest scoring team, in high altitude after playing 3 games in 25 days.
