The kid did wrong but I wish there was a little more forgiveness in the world right now.

Ron McLean comes over as a sanctimonious creature ready with the knife and pulpit commentary.
look the issue is that the dude still hasn't publiclly apologized to the kid. And that is important given how "famous" he is. At the end of the day second chances should be had.... but i think thats killing him right now, the lack of public empathy he's shown.

W.e empathy he has shown seems more becasue he was caught instead of genuine. I'm not saying that's how he is, but that is what it comes off as. Bullying a kid that bad during the formative years can lead to years of unpacking that. Hopefully he's learned to be a better human being is all i'm saying.

All the big boys are playing well except for Marner, who looks incredibly slow both physically and mentally out there as he has all Season long.

According to the victim's mother, the abuse was relentless for about 7 years! It's not like it was a one time event.

Making someone eat a candy that had been rubbed inside a urinal is more than just teasing and name calling!

I think there’s a difference between forgiveness and being in the NHL. He can live his life the right way and atone for his acts but that doesn’t need to come with an NHL career.

Bad call. Looked like the stick first and momentum made him lose his grip. Cheapy call considering how the game is going.

Now this....

f*** off refs
