The Leafs' passing, skating, and playmaking is a lot better tonight.

I think Keefe has Brodie playing with Holl which is what he needs.

Props to Keefe for putting Liljegren with Rielly
Yeah its about the best they can do at the moment. Lilly looks decent so far. Really rooting for him.

I didn’t know Marchand was playing

Lilj will be a top 2 d when its all said and done. He's legit and I've always maintained he'd be better than sandin.

This isn't to rag on sandin, but that lack of speed just kills the dude.

I think Lillys positional awareness is the biggest difference between them. This usually takes years to hone and Lilly already is.competent in knowing where to be, when to pinch, how to cut off players. He and Gio should be paired, he is a great role model to learn from whether by osmosis or direct education.

Kevin bieska has probably become the better part of cbc intermission lately.

Funny with the full equipment thing the other night but whatever... he has a pretty good take on the game.
The kid did wrong but I wish there was a little more forgiveness in the world right now.

Ron McLean comes over as a sanctimonious creature ready with the knife and pulpit commentary.
Oh he sobered up long enough for that

100% the dude knows how to be right where he needs to be. Active stick, good positioning, and he just sees the play really well.
