Honestly the score flattered them. It felt like a bigger beat down than winning by 2 goals. Score effects and a tired 4 man defense group contributed to making it look more respectable at the end but cmon.

Yeah, they had some fluky goals too. We didn’t even score on a 2 on 0 as well haha and still trounced them before score effects took over.

All we have to remember is that the Leafs won with their 4th string goalie, 4D, and it wasn't even close.

It's going to be a long decade of feeding them Maple Leaf sausage non-stop while they flounder in the basement.

If you have some time head over to the the Bruins board... something about Bruin fan tears that sustain this Leaf fans soul ... every excuse in the book but the truth, the Leafs out played, out hit, out skilled the Bruins ... tastes salty ...

Bruins took the Leafs lightly and got whooped... Bruin fans are taking this team lightly and got sad... :(

We are missing Campbell, Muzzin, Lyush, Holl, Kase and we still whooped their whiny asses .... where is Matthew Knies...? I want to see Bruins fans reaction when he Bull Moose their defence straight down the middle.... Ugggggg me Knies... me crush Bruins.... I honestly don't know if I enjoyed the game or bruins fans reaction more?

Don't get me wrong.....I know the trouble we are in with goalies right now but I did smirk a bit when Kaalgren had to come in net. Only because just before that Mrazek was again playing too wide in his crease and overshooting. Right after that it seemed like some stability occured.

Saying that however I did notice as the game went on that Kaalgren himself was playing too much on his knees and leaving over his shoulder open for some mesh movement. Hopefully he can correct it because I did start to see Boston trying to come in on those side angles to try and expose that.

I thought Lyb did hit the numbers but Hall did turn. What blew me away was the pillow punch actually put the big boy down! I hope he truly rebounds as I thought for sure he was just trying to draw an extra penalty.

And who cares if we accept a blood bath meeting with the Ruins. That could be just the thing the doctor ordered for our team to gather round to go all the way. ALL OR NOTHING! That is where we are at. Screw Boston. Nice to see their little streak end up in the back of their shorts. GLG!

Yeah there are even a few mentions over there of "terrible officiating", which is rich coming from that group. I think they're mad that their thugs ain't so thuggy anymore, and they have to rely on even cheaper cheap shots and the typical arrogant boisterous Boston crowd steering the officiating like they usually do. I would like a series against them again... give bunting a few games to get some licks in on Marchand ( :)) since we KNOW he has some screws loose and will do something stupid and get suspended. Our forwards are better. Our D is better. Just give me solid decent goal tending and let's get it on :yo:

That incident last night is very similar to this one from last year:

Larkin got 1 game .. is DOPS really going to die on the hill of what a 'punch' is?

I don't think I've hated a sports franchise like the Bruins before. I don't recall being fuming mad every time we played the Ottawa Senators in the early 2000s. This Bruins team has been objectively dirty for 10 years and it has become an advantage. If we play them in round 1 - I fully expect Marchand will not be penalized the entire series again.

I mean the refs did do a terrible job at managing the game but that in no way, shape, or form favoured the Leafs.

Hell look at Holl getting a "hooking" penalty before being injured after the B's player was holding is stick. That was utter garbage.

I wonder if him only getting 2 last night makes a suspension more likely considering by rule he should have been tossed.

On the other hand it's DoPS and the Leafs so I'm expecting a fine.

He got a fine.

Typical dops crap. The equivalent of about 28 bucks for you and me. For mugging a guy from behind with a cheapshot punch. You could tell boosh wasn't ready for it and had no idea it was coming. Disgusting.
