You guys want Foligno back? Guy is legit a corpse. What’s even more frustrating is Bruce won’t sit him… ever.

That said, better team won tonight. Leafs are dangerous. Enjoy, folks. You have a scary team there offensively.

The Amazon Leafs documentary showed how good Foligno was in the room, so I'm guessing Cassidy keeps him for that reason as well.

Sounds like he's coming out of the lineup moving forward though.

See you in the playoffs, perhaps. Good luck rest of the way.

That's where I want to pull my hair out. He was a drop off even from that Columbus series. He only played decent against us after that even with Columbus in 2020 he was trash

I can't believe our pro scouts didnt' catch him being that bad

Think the injuries have caught up to him in a hurry.

For sure, there’s no doubt he’s well liked… however it reeks of David Backes. Aging power forward with next to nothing left in the tank.

Other than drop the gloves a few times this year he’s done absolutely nothing to warrant playing time. It’s at the point where I get happy with a shot or two on net.

Cheers. I enjoy the friendly banter back and forth. Hopefully the injuries aren’t serious and the Leafs are healthy down the stretch and into the post season.

Slapp Happy

Hall is a Biatch coward. Should be suspended for that punch from behind
Costly night injury wise. Holl bad luck getting hit by that puck. Hope he's ok.
Great physial win otherwise, Bruins dirty as usual. 4th line was money tonight.
If that was a leaf doing the same in the playoffs against Boston. They would be suspended 100 P.

Thing about Nick is that he is a great guy and father off the ice - his daughter Milana was sick (heart defect) and they did many visits/surgeries at Children's Hospital in Boston where they took care of his family and he gave back with donations and I think that was a driving reason for him to go sign with the B's.

Unfortunately he's clearly not the same player he was in Columbus, and yes, it reminds me of Backes' decline, which is too bad, but all these power forwards expire real quick as they get up there into their 30's.

Yep. I read that before and it makes total sense, honestly. I’ve always liked Figgy, even back to his Ottawa days. Great character guy, but just super cooked at this stage. Not much left in the tank, and that $3.8M contract is rough.

I thought he’d be decent in a 4th line role, but even there he’s struggling to keep up to the play. He’s having a rough go.

Anyways, I’ll venture back to the Bruins board and cry a bit. Cheers, folks.

Holy shit the main boards is a cesspool tonight. People either saying the punch on Bush was deserved or he was faking it. The anti-Leafs derangement syndrome knows no bounds.
Havent got around to reading what the mouth breathers figure.. maybe ill pass this time

McAvoy with his fake tough guy act in the 3rd trying to run everybody. He levelled JT in their end in the 3rd which was clear interference no call as JT hadn't touched the puck.

Lindholm apart from the opening play in the 1st where Mrazek robbed him, looked invisible all night.

And when you look at what is behind those two guys:

Carlo
Grzelcyk
Clifton
Forbort

..for them to say their D is a wash with ours, is laughable.

Hope they don't take Clifton out next time we see them and put Mike Reilly in, or we'll be in real trouble lol
I didn't think McAvoy was trying to be "fake tough" at all. I thought he played pretty well, got a couple points and made some clean, competitive, physical plays.

I'd love a guy who played that sound both ways, as an insulator for an offensively minded guy like Rielly. Dude is just a good hockey player.

Giordano still has it. He's definitely the next vet who is signing for cheap (2-2.5M ish)

If he can stay and play at a high level for another 2 years, it would turn a good trade into an incredible trade.

Everyone is going to learn from him too.
