Very nice win tonight for the Leafs, the score doesn't represent it all, 3rd game in 4 nights, losing our starting goalie early into the hockey game and then going down to 4 dman in the 3rd period.

Typical Boston rats, game starts to get out of hand and they start to goon it up. Wish someone would have tooned Hall and MacAvoy up.

The team D has really been shored up with the addition of Gio, and thats without Muzzin to help stop the cycle and clear guys from the front of the net.

"What their speed does is disrupt your timing of your play. It puts pressure on you to execute and that's where we were off. They put pressure on us to execute with their speed and we didn't handle it well enough...... I think this was more about they pressured us into mistakes, which is what they do well." #SpeedKills

Hall only got two minutes. Love this league. :sarcasm:

Liljegren was impressive, if this is his ceiling I'd take it and run.

My gosh, what a f***ing stud.

As someone who watched both him and Sandin on the Marlies, Liljegren is the better defenseman. There is a reason why I always had him ranked higher than Sandin.

Sandin has more "swagger" in his game. He is going to make more fancy looking plays that will catch your eye and he will make a lot of high-IQ plays with the puck, but Liljegren's defensive play is far better... And I would trust Liljegren to hold a lead a lot more than Sandin.

The good news is that you need both. You need guys who can do what Sandin can do, and you need guys who can do what Liljegren can do. They are very different defensemen.

Bruins fans are hilarious. Mocking us saying this is our Stanley cup etc as if they wouldn't be gloating and super arrogant tonight if they won.

And of course going back to the same old tired insults "enjoy your first round loss with that defense and goaltending" as if we didn't score 6 on them and had only four dmen playing and our third string goalie in net :biglaugh: f***ing clowns
We got granted another Stanley Cup tonight - That is like 7 this season!

Rat boy was upset at the refs for what? That he cross checked JT over and over again without JT even acknowledging the cross checks?

According to ray boy JT should have been penalized for ignoring the rat.

He had a good start then that line trailed off. Probably because B's were line matching

But that's the thing, he's too slow and late to most plays. At home is one thing, on the road, he gets out worked and skated
In the playoffs it all tightens and slows up and he can clutch and grab more. He was good the last two times and plays with passion, just stick him with some fast guys who can cover him and we should be fine.

McAvoy with his fake tough guy act in the 3rd trying to run everybody. He levelled JT in their end in the 3rd which was clear interference no call as JT hadn't touched the puck.

Lindholm apart from the opening play in the 1st where Mrazek robbed him, looked invisible all night.

And when you look at what is behind those two guys:

Carlo
Grzelcyk
Clifton
Forbort

..for them to say their D is a wash with ours, is laughable.

Hope they don't take Clifton out next time we see them and put Mike Reilly in, or we'll be in real trouble lol
