Smart. Skilled. Needs to get stronger. Those themes come up over and over. Compete-level mentioned below.Does anyone know if Nick hits and is a pest on the ice?
Do we have a scout report on him?
Thanks.Smart. Skilled. Needs to get stronger. Those themes come up over and over. Compete-level mentioned below.
I just saw his introductory presser. Seems more boy than man. Very, very, nervous. Boston game tonight would seem too big for him based on that, but who knows what he is on the ice. Toronto media is scary to a guy his age.
This is from HockeyProspect .com 2019 Black Book:

No, the other 6'8" 4C in the Marlies. Are you talking about Curtis Douglas?
He can't get called up. His NHL contract starts next season. No, the other 6'8" 4C in the Marlies.
Yes, Curtis Douglas.
He isn't pushed around. I don't know where that is coming from.Thanks.
That's too bad that he's pushed around easy.
Need more gritty tough SOB players on the team, right now.
Abruzzese and Knies are playoff eligibleI've seen it posted that Abruzzese won't be eligible for the Marlies. Is this a new rule? Is it specific to NCAA players?
I remember Andrea Johnsson joining the Marlies for their playoff run a few years back without playing regular season games. Was he already signed to an ELC prior to the deadline? Is that why he was allowed?
For both the Marlies and Leafs?Abruzzese and Knies are playoff eligible
Don't know about the Marliee but the Leafs yes.For both the Marlies and Leafs?
No. Abruzzese can only be with the big club the rest of the way and his cap hit will count until the playoffs begin...Per Earl Schwartz on Twitter. Knies would be the same. Only eligible for the Leafs in regular season and playoffs, not the Marlies for anything. For both the Marlies and Leafs?
Yeah, this is what I remembered from last season. But they are allowed to play in the playoffs, and there is currently no player limit as long as they are abiding by the cap.I've seen it posted that Abruzzese won't be eligible for the Marlies. Is this a new rule? Is it specific to NCAA players?

Er...well, as much as I'd like to agree with that, Robertson has demonstrated...well...Better small and skilled than tough, unskilled and dumb as bricks.

that's a 3 year old scouting report lmao... Away from the puck, Abruzzese shows a good compete level but he still has a
ways to go in the strength department. Even as a 99 birthdate, he has a slight
frame that keeps him from winning puck battles consistently and he can get
pushed around along the walls and in front of the net.

Not sure about this season but next season I'd love to see a line of:
Knies - Abruzzese - Spezza
Love spezza and theres an assistant GM or assistant coach available with the marlies if he wants. Shouldnt return as a player
What're you going on about?Thats from what 3 years ago?
Right, and I'm pointing out where it came from based on Sticky's post.that's a 3 year old scouting report lmao
