Dylan Ferguson Kelly Cup Title interview

And the entire Coliseum chanted "Fergy, Fergy, Fergy"...such an amazing goalie and his future is very bright !

PS. The Patrick J. Kelly Cup goes to the playoff champion of the ECHL.

Question: How many Goalies are the Leafs gonna sign?

This is likely the plan. None of our goalies have any business being picked off of waivers but you just know they will.

None of them are waiver eligible anyways.

Woll and Kallgren are exempt. Petruzzelli, McKay, and Cavallin are on AHL deals. Hildeby is in Sweden.

Murray and Samsonov are presumably in the NHL so it doesn't matter if they are not exempt.

Ironically, Ferguson is the only one who would be eligible.

Is the Hutchinson era thankfully over?

I have no faith in Kallgren or Woll. So I'd be happy for Ferguson to replace one of them. But this is pretty much guaranteed to just be a training camp and pre-season thing.

Golden Knights' Michael Hutchinson: Signs with Vegas

Hutchinson signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Golden Knights on Wednesday, Jul 13, 2022.

Hutchinson will likely enter the 2022-23 campaign as the fourth netminder on Vegas' organizational depth chart, so we don't expect him to spend much time in the NHL next season. He went 11-10-5 while posting a 3.23 GAA and an .899 save percentage through 28 appearances with AHL Toronto in 2021-22.

Funny you should ask as Hutchenson is replacing Dylan Ferguson in the Vegas system replacing him in the AHL with Henderson Silver Knights.

:clap:Excellent. Ideally he would have went to a team the Leafs would face more often.
"Oven Mitts" was such an awful goalie.

Just wondering how this is the best deal Dylan Ferguson could find out there? He played 24 games between the AHL and ECHL last season for Vegas... less than 3.00 GAA and plus .900 save percentage in both places. Is it possible that the Leafs' new goaltender development guy has a specific interest in him?
