Maybe a big jump in the 24-25 cap for him, and uncertainty over Matthews and Nylander contracts for the Leafs.

I think at this point leafs are not going more than 1-2 years which is unfortunate because this was the year to take advantage of a depressed cap but the selfish core won't give them an answer because they want to be comfortable even though they've been here for 8 years
