and Connor brown was a -72 2 years ago with Erie, and is +44 now, when your team has 24 wins in 68 games, gives up 61 more goals than you score, and your one of the more important players on the team playing bigger minutes against the other teams best players you're going to be a minus, and probably a fairly big minus.

I know he's a center haha, not much else, only stuff I've heard around here, and I'm not really sure you can trust 2nd hand info, by the time I gave it to you it'd be 3rd hand. If you do a search of him on this board you'll probably find the stuff others have posted.

Had a strong start to the season playing with Perlini. Began to fall off a little bit during the second half of the season. Didn't do much in the playoffs, just got knocked out in game 7 last night by my boys. Hence why he'll be going to the Marlies now.

.. skilled and creative pivot with decent size and fast hands .. still working on developing a consistent compete level .. lacks urgency at times – and can be tentative about engaging in heavy board battles .. not strong enough yet – his upper body largely un-developed .. needs the luxury of open ice to create – and exploit solid puckhandling abilities and good offensive vision .. also packs a quick shooting release – and is proficient at face-offs .. bears down and wins a majority of draws .. skating holds him back however.. propels on a wide, bow-legged stance that provides average mobility and limited first-step quickness .. must work on his agility and making stronger, tighter turns ..

Morrison: “I’d put him in the Josh Leivo category (an OHL third-rounder from 2011 now on the Marlies). He was a real late bloomer. Carter’s development really started to take off in the second half of this year. You could really see signs of him coming, especially in the playoffs versus Oshawa.

“He also had a very good (under-18) tournament. With the number of players over there, he ended up in a third- or fourth-line role, but we kept a close eye on him. And he’s got some size potential.â€

Heard he's pretty good in all three zones and his work ethic improved. The biggest weaknesses I've read is his strength and skating which I'm sure Underhill will continue to work with him in that regard. I'd like to see what he can do with the Marlies and where he'll be placed.
