We were giving this team sooooo much shit before the comeback. “Typical Leafs no heart” and all that. But damn if this victory doesn’t restore some faith in them, even with Tampa looking like a wagon.

Kallgren really showed his skills in that shootout. Dude has potential. Excluding Kuznetsov he stayed with the puck the entire time. Locked up the five hole too there was nothing.

Considering they deserved a win last night, I guess things even out a bit. I do agree though. We need some players to really wake up.

Matthews has been good and getting chances. So I think goals will go in eventually... but I really hope he doesn't get into the playoffs with some bad luck juju he goes through once in awhile. He needs to score. He had about 20 scoring chances this weekend.

The Leafs also need a lot more from guys like Kerfoot and Tavares.
